If it's a pollen allergy, protip for next year: eating locally harvested honey can have a preventative effect by exposing your immune system to the allergens before allergy season.

yeah if you get the old style pseudofed which contains pseudoephedrine it seems to work pretty good, but it sounds like you need a more long term solution.

Honestly nothing works for me like running every day, or vigorous cardio exercise.  It both clears up my sinuses and keeps me from getting allergies.

really??

interesting...I've got an allergy related runny nose that bugs the shit out of me.

yes, it can; honey is wonderful for you in that, and so many ways.

If you're talking about the running, it always at least helps for a bit, and I'm convinced that it cured my allergy problems over time (for the most part, makes them just a tiny nuisance).  I tend to get the mildew allergy more than pollen, so I'd be stuffed up on damp days instead of sunny ones, but it hardly happens anymore.

Pseudoeph definitely helps if that's what you're asking but obviously it is a shitty long-term solution and should only be used once in a while.

there are (gentle) sinus massages you cam look up that will cause the duct to open up and help with clogging. hot steamy shower combined with this is my morning routine when congested.

this, they also have bee pollen, which is basically all the goodies that they eat to make honey that falls off before, kind of like small golden pellets that are great for exposure. i put about a tea spoon on my cereal.
