I have been wondering about using a SGFC, but with bigger holes in it. Maybe 3/8 inch holes, so to increase FAE.

cook up a stir fry for the week munch! :rockon:

i always had shotgun fruiting chambers dry out on me. i find it easier open air lol..

also after making a shotgun fruiting chamber. you will probably never want to drill a hole again

you could try it.

Do you guys think lions mane would fare well with this method? Maybe if I substituted mulch for saw dust or something? I have several jars colonizing but I haven't decided what to do with them yet. This tek revived my hope for growing edibles after my decent oyster turn out.

here are the revived 2007 cultures. spawned to wood mulch today. smelled like almonds.had to bring these back with pf jars. they wouldn't germinate on agar plates.
