Everything that is of the natural is temporary. Even if you can have an orgasm that will last forever, you will still get tired of it, and then it will be a torturing process; your paradise will become hell.

For me it'd be about 1 billion people on the planet; so peace and divine life can be explored for many thousands of years; to put it more simply, when we care about and value all species' lives about equally.

There is not less love on earth with fewer people, in fact with less fighting over resources, it may well be much more beautiful. :smile:

in the meanwhile, legalizing sacred herb and a dozen other things which are coming about slowly but surely; a very good first step. :sun:

Naturally, it's also here and now, and the best thing to ask for is often higher consciousness, or higher vibrations as deff puts it, or awareness of higher realities.

finding an activity that feels fulfilling by itself, not for the fruit of it. Loosing yourself in this activity, forgetting the sense of self.

that's a very nice post cbub, and a potent/powerful idea. . the process is more important than the result, or life is a dance, not a journey.  Well, the saying is, it's a journey not a destination, or the illustration of a dance is good; the point of dancing is not to reach some particular place on the dance floor, it's rather all of it together.. any activity though; simply engaging in it for the pleasure of learning more about it, mastering or perfecting a skill, simply the joy in the process, is a really good thing.

I feel that ideas are like tools, in a certain sense;

some are uplifting, healing, and liberating, while some are stultifying, and what not;

I can use an idea without being attached to it, the same way I can use a hammer without being attached to it.

It's not that to pick up a hammer, I'm bonded to it and may never set it down;

while I agree that carrying nothing with you is a great path, probably the best path.

for examples of uplifting and liberating ideas, i am primarily referring to such ones as 'peace will win, in the end,'

or things like this.

i wrote this before coming online. .

it's interesting to me you said that deff;

before i wrote this i had the thought - may be the whole universe is merely an idea in an infinite consciousness,

if that's the case then with no ideas, there is no world. :smile:

hehe interesting stuff and it gets pretty far out;

anyhow. :wink:

one thing i think is best to not worry about mistakes; they will happen. .

as they say, do not mind the mistakes of the past, it is dust; we are here and now in the present moment, and this is what is real.

greater understanding of cause and effect allows one to see further; to understand more, and how it's all connected;

best way to reach perfection is to not worry about perfection.

Those who ignore the past are doomed to repeat it.

While I sort of admire your upbeat attitude, it's becoming more obvious that you aren't very aware of what's going on, for all the talk about the present moment, and what is real.

Paradise...

Imagine there is a place, let's call it Heaven, where 10100000 Greater Angels soar of very many different kinds. These Greater Angels are eternal and their life consists of meeting up with each other, one on one. When two Greater Angels meet up in lower dimensional space a big bang ensues, a whole cosmos unfolds, inhabited by lifeforms and forms of consciousness that explore each other in every possible way. When this ecstatic, orgiastic process has unfolded the two Greater Angels part ways, both deeply changed by their encounter, to seek out new partners to make cosmic love with for all eternity.

:nodofunderstanding:

Picture that the sum of all this is God.

:holyfuckdude:

Now picture that ALL of it is YOU.

my friend trust me,

i am extremely aware of what is going on;

arms manufacturers profiting from war, etc. and that's total hell; far far worse than it has been before, because the form of warfare is far worse;

i have also noticed that division within a home, within a friendship community nation etc - weakens it so much

and i see people infighting and losing almost ALL their energy;

so for one thing, i know for a certainty that creating bonds of peace does not come from fighting, arguing, etc.

but leading the way forward by walking in peace.

i advocate active and passive resistance to war; this is the positive change, the positive steps that can happen to make it better. (by it i mean life for all living beings, which, unfortunately, has to start with humans as we have such an effect on the world)

there is infinite good, and infinite ill in the world - the strongest way forward is always the same -- always the tao, the path, call it whatever you will,

it is strength and health and peace and love, all in one;

it is fearlessness and calmness and solidity, all in one.

when i mentioned mistakes, i'm talking about - one word out of place, you know?

that can lead to a nightmare or something like that; do not mind those mistakes;

as to the other mistakes - no, they are not necessary; and one of the worst ideas ever is that suffering is necessary; that war is necessary etc., etc, etc,

look forward to future chats with you;

again, Change, Yes.  Action, Yes.  Worry - never.
