Its been some time and i didnt see pins so while checking my cake i have found that its been Fruiting from its base!! i had to turn it upside down. well before rolling it, i have put the verm in the oven for like 30 mins(as an extra precaution) and then let it cool (cant remember in the fridge or not) and then rolled it. The base doesnt have much verm as the rest of the cake.

its fruiting where the conditions was best/right
maybe your humidity is off in the fc? maybe check the perlite is still fully wet.
turning the cakes over if there is a problem may have moved them away from the 'good' conditions and if humidity is a problem in the fc now unless you sort the problem they may not be fully truly happy

If you put the verm in the fridge after you bake it then it will just get nasty again. Refrigerators are dirty as hell.

Yea...a noobish mistake! actually i have done this with the syringe's water before loading it with spores...sterile hot water then cooled it down inside the fridge i ended up with 3 cakes contaminated out of five! should i wash the verm and re-roll it or wait for this flush first?

Don't wash it and reroll. It doesn't matter how dirty the verm is.. a fully colonized cake shouldn't contaminate.
A high humidity isn't necessary. You want a high surface humidity done with misting, lower humidity around it will evaporate it and cause pinning. Those cakes look really dry, which is why it's pinning where it was moist. The verm/cake should be shimmering wet all the time.. people mist like 3 times a day minimum.
Sgfcs are designed to drop down to 50% rh at times. It's actually normal. You just gotta make sure they're glistening 24/7 for proper fruiting conditions. In a sgfc there's so much fae you don't even have to fan with the lid after misting. You want it to evaporate 24/7.

I think it's normal. I mean, if they're goring like towards the bottom center seemingly only, sure flip the cake if you've inspected it and don't see a pinset anywhere near the top if you really want but I'd say leave it be and let it do it's thing. Honestly, it just seems common; Think about how close the bottom of the cake is to the hydrated perlite, plus the cake already has moisture from the dunk so high humidity will likely cause it to fruit from the base of the cake I believe. I don't find this as a bad thing in most of my experiences, I have flipped a couple cakes before but they still did fine as well I just inspected them well before doing so and made a sound decision instead of acting purely out of a pointless paranoia. I mean, look at this cake of mine. It's fruiting from only the bottom edgings and the underside of the cake, and I'm leaving it exactly as it is to do it's own thing; &I must say it's coming along nicely!

Yeah bottom pins aren't bad per se. Just telling you to keep them glistening wet and you'd see way less bottom pins
Flip or don't, it doesn't matter. These guys will survive what you do.
