Are these ready to pick? The top one is sort of split also on the stem. Is that an issue. Thanks.

I'd pick that one. The others don't look ready. Wait until the veal breaks. Pick as the open or wait and harvest all at once.
Plus those look really wet. How much are you misting?

I concur with Zephan that they're looking a bit wet. Might consider reducing mist + fanning a bit.
Do you have enough holes/properly spaced in your fruiting chamber?

Fan them often. I use a magazine or tub lid. The more the better. Lightly mist. They don't need to be drenched. Just moist.
mist, fan...

you don't need to fan at all the SGFC has 100s of holes in it. the ONLY reason we fan is after we mist to remove mist particles from the air so evaporation can occur sooner. if you never fanned at all it would work just as well. fanning IS NOT for FAE fanning would have to happen every few minutes to be for air exchange. just mist less or less often.
FAE occurs naturally in a SGFC. you fan after you mist and only after you mist. with the lid for 2 seconds.

Here is the whole setup. I had just sprayed them b4 that pic. I will spray less and fan more. Is that causing the cracks?

You need the RH much higher than that. I should be closer to 90-95%.

Sorry to invade your post. But I can't post a new thread of my own. Anyone know why? There doesn't seem to be a "new thread" button anywhere in any of the subforums.

rh should fluctuate and be 95-99% at the surface. inside of a SGFC the humidity can swing as low as 50% regularly throughout the day. you mist a couple times a day. even if you neglect a cake in a sgfc you should get plenty of pins and moderate performance.

Mist less. They look a little too wet.

Oh and did you drill holes in all six sides? Cause your holes seem a little wonky.

Yeah, you could use some more holes. On the bottom as well.
