I can see the dachshund in it! Maybe not pure, but it has some for sure. Face gives it away, I had two in my family for years!
Also if you're looking to get an animal go adopt one that needs a home. Not just a perfectly fine dog with a caretaker that wants a stupid amount of money for him/her.

if you like the dog and the parents dont have genetic health problems who cares if its really a purebred. its not like you'd be showing it. and hopefully you're not considering breeding it yourself.

I'd just like to have a pure dachshund is all,
I have been looking for an all brown but it's not easy I've been to countless rescues and adoption centers , The only time I see them is people with akc certifications asking for 1500,
All I see in shelters are many mixed pitbull and sick cats,

That's not really a crazy price for a supposedly pure bred dog. There are dogs that go for thousands regularly.

Pitbulls are way too big, and most are already grown and aggressive,

I knew a part pitbull dog who could howl "ryee ruv roooooooo" It was incredibly cute.
Her owner taught her it by telling her he loved her all the time.

pit mixes are fine.
anyway you should get the dog. it needs a home just as bad as a shelter one. Dont blame the dog, blame the people who breed them.

just go to the local shelter, and get a puppy...all dogs are fine if they are treated well.
but if the friend isnt a pet owner... then dont them a pet.

she should teach it to bite. small dogs that bite, people think are really cute. they dont really mind that much. not like a rottweiler or anything. you could say "when he bites you that means he likes you" and they'd go "awwwwe"

Yeah real smart teach the dog something it will be executed for. Why not teach it to use a handgun as well.

Hold out and get a standard dachshund. Those minis are annoying and get fat too easy then get bad backs. Standards are one of the baddest ass dogs out there.
