Is this healthy? (First time)

Hi all, first time posting and first time growing. Does this look healthy? I had a contam on the edges because of use of masking tape and the mycelium grew upwards and started turning green so I cut it off when it was early and I think the whole batch was saved. The caps look very crusty and I'm not sure if that is healthy or not.
I inoculated 30 jars and 29 were fine, 1 never grew even after the rest reached full colonization. The pictures below were 2 cakes added in between layers of sterilized verm. Some spots grew quicker and I had my 50/50+ ready by then and added on top.
Since then I switched to using smaller trays and with verm layer bottom and 50/50+ casing on top of cake slices or whole cakes, those trays are still colonizing the casing so I'll wait until they start to consolidate and pin.
The trays are all put inside a room with a air purifier running 24/7, open greenhouse with an ultrasonic humidifier running 24/7 pumping moisture and oxygen into it. All level of the stack shows 80-90% humidity throughout the day and temperature is sitting around 75. I only have a 6500k LED turned on 12/12 cycle but I think they don't need THAT much lighting right?
I'm glad I found this site as everyone has been super helpful and all the information on here helped me get this far. I'm not sure how I'm doing as this is the first tray (there was one more tray but that got crazy contam as I was getting too greedy trying to colonize a huge tray of BRF/Verm substrate) but it seems healthy except the caps being crusty and white, I'm hoping they'll grow out of it. Please let me know if there is anything I can improve on!!!
Thanks!

How deep is your case? Having your humidifier going 24/7 without good frequent evaporation by fanning it with a magazine or something could cause little to no growth. Those look stillborn to me.

The casing is about 1-2" deep, just enough to cover the slices and crumbled brf cake. The picture was taken earlier today, there was significant growth to most of them since yesterday but I notice mycelium on top of the caps and slight crust.
Air circulation should be okay as there is a air purifier blowing occasionally to that area. The green house has one side completely opened. Perhaps it will help if I fan it a couple times a day?

The casing layer is way too deep, that could be why there is little growth. Effective casing layers should be no more than half an inch deep. In fact, cubes don't need a casing layer at all and would fruit normally without one. In my experience, I get larger, thicker fruits fruiting without a casing layer. You just gotta see what works best for you.

So after two days from last set of pictures. I'm not sure why there are some discoloration but I'm hoping they look healthy. It's my first time so I'm no expert and don't want to assume incorrectly. Thanks for any feedbacks!

Thanks, I gave it a quick mist... Question, I thought misting during fruiting stage is not good?
Majority of them looks classic with the red brownish cap, but I notice maybe 4 or 5 of them are slightly discolored, to the point that it's almost blue, is that normal?
Thank you for helping out!

misting during fruiting isn't necessary if your tub is dialed in perfectly. if it isn't dialed in a mist is very helpful. it rains outside which doesnt harm outside fruits, just make sure you got good FAE going so the mushrooms dont stay wet.
I dont see blue, I see some very pale ones which can be a sign of them being dry.

Thanks for all the help! So one day after the last set of photos they all seem to broke the veil and I notice spores started dropping. Should I start harvesting the ones that the veil broke off or should I wait for the rest to break the veils?
Thanks!

So I guess I picked them a little too late as spores started dropping everywhere... However, I noticed after they've been picked, there's some rot looking stuff at the bottom of the stem, is this normal? (Some of the pics show it more clearly than others).
I'm going to wash off the verms and throw them in a dehydrator. Please let me know if I'm doing anything wrong Thanks!

I think the "rot" you are refering to is just some substrate that tore up with it? Or if a tub is contaminated (I know you said your tub had mold) sometimes where the trich touches the mushrooms the base of the stems can go soft IME.
I think youre fine. Next time harvest each mushroom when theyre readying instead of waiting, sometimes thst cap will flip up in just hours!
Nice harvest man good job !

I understand from what I've seen, sometimes bruising can be mistaken for contamination. Photos of precisely what you are referring to may get someone who knows to confirm or dis confirm.

Ok, so I've harvested that big tray and it's been misted, put into the greenhouse again hoping a second flush will come. Those btw were Golden Teachers and they bruised very easily when handled. Now the other smaller trays are ready and they look pretty healthy, I'm harvesting three trays and noticed some blackish-greenish stuff in the myc, I'm not sure if it's trich but please help me out here, I've circled them in red. The other pics are just to show the nice flushes I got out of one of the trays Btw, these are B+ and they hardly bruised when handled. Thanks for all the feedbacks! I'm still learning as this whole batch was a first time experience. (Surprisingly I never had any issues with everything up until birthing the cakes. I did 30 jars and 29 were okay, 1 never grew, but nothing bad came out from it either, I did PC'd it and threw the content of it out though just incase)
My 50/50+ also does not have any limestones which is why there are added coral shells (ratio is 1 verm : 1 peat : ~0.8 shells : 1 water) to balance the PH. (Unfortunately there's no access for limestones here) Seems like the myc doesn't mind it so I think it's working.
I'm so surprised how fast these B+ are growing though, they all came out in matter of 2 days or so.

Thanks! Anyone know if the circled pictures are trich?
I'm now working on second batch, using rye grain instead or BRF. Upgraded from polyfil to heavy duty hardened felt (100% polyester) as filters covering the lid with 5 holes punctured. I think I found a fairly lazy way to keep contams out without using silicone, tapes covering holes, just the lid and the filters I made. Will see how they turn out though.
I'm still worried about the GH being too dry though even though there's a cool mist humidifier running in it, as well as a ultrasonic humidifier running on 30min ON / 2 hour OFF cycles. I hardly see any condensation on the walls of the GH. I think I need to go pick up a decent hygrometer just to be sure. Thanks for all the input guys!

I believe the circled pictures could be bruised mycelium, it doesn't look like contamination. Did you touch the surface at all during the fruiting stage?
I remember on my last grow, I had an uncased surface layer with pooling in certain areas so I proceeded to lightly pat down those areas. It left a mark on the surface of the mycelium that looked distinctly different than the surrounding areas. I still has a great grow and had no problems with contamination, I wouldn't worry about it!

My first grow had light fruits and bruising in the sub because I let it dry out too much and then misted too zealously. I also saw lots of bruising after picking mature fruit as I was a bit rough with some, and it was consistent with what you've shown here to my eye.
So, not a super experienced grower, but my first was a great success and this looks to be too by my estimation!

Is this normal? There are big fat ones growing out of the same tub, I noticed this earlier but I figured it was the myc bruising as someone mentioned but they pinned and now it looks greenish/blackish with seeming myc covering the pin. Please help!! Thanks!

Can someone please help with the above pictures? I'm debating whether to throw the tub away. Thanks!
