DMT plant in Georgia questions and ID

I've searched but reached inconclusive results. Are there plants in Georgia that would have worthwhile DMT extraction? I only read that desmanthus illinoensis might grow in GA. This looks close, but is probably way off. Also i took the picture and didn't realize until I got home that it was blurry. Sorry about that

Even if it was it contains gramine, a toxic alkaloid, it pulls with the DMT and a way to separate the two has not been found. It does definitely look like prairie mimosa. Go ahead with caution. I would go over to the nexus and do a lot more reading. I just looked at a post that claims .1% crystal (11mg from 11g bark) and some goo.

Can you get a pic of a flower? All you can really do is attempt an extraction, the proof is in the pudding. For all we know it can be D.illinoensis and contain nothing.

Says they grow between the Rockies and the Appalachians so the chances are going south that it is.

ah. That's the only plant I've ever really seen mentioned when I tried to look this up. I think there might've been a reed/cane species?

From the pic of the leaves it does look like it, but plant ID takes more into consideration than just the leaves. Either way you will have to carry out an extraction nonetheless. I would try and if I get anything figure out a way to conduct chromatography to see if it contains gramine.

gramine is insoluble in naptha.
