Looking good!
Have you thought about how you're going to celebrate harvesting your first fruits?

Here is an update for today humans!
I put this brf/ hpoo tray into fruiting on June 24th After no action, I plugged up some holes and applied a casing layer on July 13th
Today, 7 days later, here are the first pins of that tray

The first cluster that came up. Any clusters of 3 or more. Meaty fruits clustered together. Clone clusters

To clone these babies I cut a piece of tissue from the stem and leave In ziplock bag to fuzz up before transferring to agar?

For small pins you can put them right on the agar and transfer the leading edge away from the contams. It will usually be very aggressive and overgrow the bacteria.
Larger pins can be torn in half and a small amount of tissue scraped from the center and put right into the agar. No need for ziploc bags IMO.

Looks like I will need to prepare some petri plates. I'll be using your recipe just pouring into plastic plates rather then the mini rounds

LOL yeah PDA is pretty standard. Remember to change the recipe if you want to keep the culture vigorous long term. I also like grain water, malt extract, corn starch and honey, brf agar with karo, dog food. Mix it up

Change the recipe as in add everything that you have mentioned?
I'll be moving to Colorado soon, and I would love to keep a genetic disc of information with me, if you know what I mean
That way I can start off where I left off...essentially

Just mix it up. For these plates make the PDA (potato and sugar source), next round do grain water, next try malt extract. A rotation will keep the culture vigorous.

Here are current pictures my humans
It seems that my second flush is moving in during the end of my first flush... I suppose I'll let these grow out aswell before picking them

So I know I have to twist and pull to get these suckers out...the question is after pulling do you guys "patch up" the torn substrate by putting Verm or coir or something of that
Thank you

looking good man! pump up the FAE now until harvest. they'll love it!
Dont rip up your substrate, it will be a great spot for contams to germinate on. I cut mine with a scissors, as close to the base as you can get so you dont leave much mushroom flesh behind.
and no, the stumps wont rot

Well I went ahead and removed the polyfill from the top holes
Hopefully they will reward me nicely haha
I've read about cutting at the base aswell
I'm not sure if I can twist and pull without ripping up the substrate
That's my main goal. Keeping the tub flushing out with no contams

I have been doing just twist and pull with zero issues. The divots seem to be a non issue. If you case they tend to come out a little cleaner but its not been an issue for me really. I actually have less contam issues than I did with the stumps.

maybe you're more careful than I am when doing it, or maybe I am too reckless
Just to confirm for myself and OP you're not saying leaving stumps cause you trouble? being how they're just myc and all..
