Infected Mycelium?

Did six jars of wbs and they colonized just fine, but there's something a bit off with the mycelium. Is this ok? It's almost a cross between cobweb and regular mycelium. It just seems too fuzzy :/ and the pics don't do justice really to show that.
Any opinions would be awesome thanks!

Im thinking it might be metabolites which are normal for a jar thats colonized and is consoliding

Basicaly the myc has colonized the the substrate and is producing melabolites to break down the substrate so it can absorb the nutrients the metabolites also fight off bacteria fun fact fungal metabolites are what we make anti bacterial medicines from =D

It's just tomentose cube mycelium so it's fine. I'd go ahead and spawn that.

It's a 1975 Vintage Harvest Gold Presto 12 QT Pressure. Found one for sale on eBay for $40, although it's missing the jigglier. I found mine at a garage sale for $20 lol. And yeah those were quart jars. It can hold 6 quart jars and still have space for utensils. Pretty happy with it :]

Well using some of the spawn in this double tub turned out really well. Got well over a oz. Although there was one problem. Some of my friends have said that the mushrooms they had were duds. Why would this happen?

Either your friends are full of shit, you aren't drying them properly, they aren't eating enough, or you got unlucky.

This. Sometimes genetics does that. 2 different genetics, same substrate could be VERY difficult.
Also congrats on the great flush

I know the thread is getting old but I thought I'd post some pretty pics I took of this grow

The first two are of the first flush and the third one is of a big boy I got in the second flush. In the end I got 2 oz (^.^). Then sadly it caught cobweb right after, so I buried it in the backyard.
RIP little tub you did well lol.
