Not as long as the system you speak against and the cultural fascism, corporogovernmentmilitaryindustrial regime still exists. In fact, look around, we are seriously getting close to an economic collapse and/or WWIII. But if I let a smile be my umbrella, I can collect some rain water and at least keep hydrated, right?

THe common cold is a good example of evolution. just look shit up don't spout shit from your ass and think youre clever.
you should understand what evolution really means before you try to disprove it.

Exactly. What I am saying tho is imagine if every single person on this planet unlocked the inner good. What problems would there be? The problem is pretty much the system that forces people to work and consume. Every one wants to buy shit that they don't need and are told that this is freedom, when in fact we are all slaves to the system. We need to see past all the bullshit and then destroy what oppresses us and gives us this narrow state of mind and from there we need to work on fixing the planet that we inhabit.

I disagree everything is the total opposite of what it is supposed to be.

then why is it this way and not something else?
living that way must be hell man...
things are exactly how they are supposed to be through cause and affect.
maybe you wish things were different but it is what it is.

It is true that everything must be this way. However, that does not mean it has to remain this way forever. And guess what, we will either remove the bend or there's gonna be a break. I personally am not optimistic.

It's our cerebral cortex that makes humans such a weird species.
I believe animals get mental illnesses too. But their problems aren't as easy to detect because their limited brain power doesn't allow for a huge range of thought, and they can't tell us what they are thinking. But you can clearly see instances of behavioral problems in higher primates that could be compared to human mental illness. I imagine that as you go down in brain power, you also get less possibility for disfunction. So primates would be most prone to mental illness, then other mammals, reptiles, fish, seastars, arthropods, mollusks, cnidarians. I don't suppose sponges would be able to have mental illness since they have no nervous system at all.
eh, it's sort of interesting to think about. But I reject your first sentence. madness isn't defined simply as believing in something that doesn't exist. That's far too simple. And everything we know isn't necessarily a creation of the human psyche. Multiple human psyches have noticed the exact same things independent of the others. Doesn't that make it very possible that even if no human psyches were around to know it, it would still be?
Anyway, the main disfunction in the human situation that I think you're getting at with your thread is that we've become too socially intertwined in a large population size. Even our amazing brains aren't capable of figuring out how to do it well. But we're not doing bad considering that our tribal size is 107 the size of the social population we had when we selected for this big ass brain. The human species is just going to keep getting more complex and bigger, but we're going to be limited with our same old brains. So are you an optimist who believes our ability for compassion etc will allow us to figure it all out? Or are you a pessimist who thinks that we are destined to destroy ourselves at some point?

Einstein, Franklin, and twain believe insanity to be "doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results."
or you can go by the political legal definition which means not knowing right from wrong, (i mean come on) it should be "not knowing whats legal and not illegal" shhhiiiittttttttt......
the system is flaw!!!! :P

What on earth does your "reply"/personal attack have to do with my post? I wasn't even talking about evolution let alone disproving it.
Anyway, you win the Darwin Award for today. Enjoy.

Agreed. The poor bastard kept climbing up to the top of the cage and dropped himself on his back. Over and over. Dude was suiicidal. Or maybe he expected a different result...
