Wow. Awesome video.

What's strange is I was just making my way over here to post a video about a similar topic when I found yours here, so I guess I'll just add it here instead of the OT thread

One day Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree.
'Which road do I take?' she asked.
'Where do you want to go?' was his response.
'I don't know', Alice answered.
'Then', said the cat, 'it doesn't matter.'

It's strange you used that pic ferrel because I teared up when I watched that video "no joke" and I'm not a crier by any means.

BTW not in a pussy way but it did make me choke up when the plant gave up after the other reached the pole.

We are plants' bitches. Without them there is no us. I got sad for the second bean plant that didn't make it.

I am going to play the Devil's Advocate and argue in a controlled environment that is what we see, in nature not so much.

For example, I have Easter Lilies that have already bloomed and gone. The stalks are being overgrown with morning glories. Different plants have no issue growing all over each other.

Pine trees where I live are prevalent. The vines and climbing shrubs also attach themselves in multiples to the same host plant (pole)

The video of the single plant reaching is normal. The video with the second plant hunching in defeat is not a characteristic that I see in nature. I will pay more attention and see if I notice otherwise.

--------------------
I am.

In nature, there is always something else to grab onto. In a controlled environment, not so. In cultivation, each plant would have its own stake. I think. Unless you're a little crazy like me, you forget these things.
