Dude the bench matters.. what are you talking about?

Thats why the warriors are the best team in the west. David lee, iggy, Ezeli, barbosa etc.

Fuck no its not dude. Cavs are a more balanced team and have better players coming off the bench and starting.
The reason they are the best is they shoot historically good.

___

Lil B is a terrible rapper.

KD called him a clown and they got in a beef. I dont know why he’s pissed at harden but its really the only relevance the guy has. I dont even think anybody likes his musci.

More balanced how? Jr. Smith is in the starting lineup now so how is their bench better than the warriors?

Also, remember Tristian Thompson wasn’t a starter until Love went down.

Livingston and Barbosa are good but they wont make much of an impact. GS is going to get destroyed on the inside and will have no answers for LBJ. I think Cleveland will be able to shoot with GS. Thats what i mean by balance, they can shoot and they can play physical. Lebron scored like 32 points in the paint the other night or some shit. I just don’t see Steph or Klay doing that when they have an off shooting game.

oh OK. This is probably the first time we agree on something basketball related. The way shump and jr are shooting they can definitely keep up with gs. And if kyrie is healthy then its over

I'm afraid I'd have to agree with that as well. At the start of the season I did not expect LBJ to take the Cavs to a title in his first year back there. Now, I can see it happen.

I also think LBJ can shutdown Curry when the time comes.

It is going to be absolutely crucial for Cleveland to win either Game 1 or 2 though. I dont think they can win a title in Golden State. If Lebron were to win a game 7 on the road fuck Jordan. LBJ is king.

I just dont see him not winning 2-3 more titles before he retires he has still got like 7-8 years left in the tank.

I think this series is LeCunt's only chance to make a real GOAT statement. If he comes back his first year in Cleveland and wins a ring he moves beyond Jordan in my eyes. If he misses this year and still gets one, that's still incredible but it won't be enough in my mind to surpass MJ. Doing it straight out one off, though. That'll be some shit like I never believed could've happened.

I think they would have won it easy if they didn’t get hit by injuries.
Injuries really decimated the NBA as a whole this year. I think the playoffs were pretty weak as a result of that, both GS and CLE were immediate favorites.

Its crazy how far J.R Smith has come.

I fucking hated that guy for a long time. The Thuggets, then on the Knicks he was always such a dick, who had really good moments but it wasn’t worth putting up with the guy. Now he’s one of the better shooters around and all that time he spent being the guy in NY is paying off.

It truly is amazing.

I remember drafting him in my fantasy league when he was playing in China with my last pick.
He's matured as a player and a person so much since then. Hats off to JR.

What do you mean immediate favourite? Not to you. You thought GS would die by the 3 in the playoffs. You never saw them as a favourite before the first round.

I've always loved jr even if when he acted like a complete retard. The talent was always there, he just needed someone like lebron to keep him in check. Lord knows melo wasn't gonna do that shit :lolsy:

Again it just goes to show how lbj is the best player in the world.

Dude SA and LAC would have both given them a run for their money.

Houston got lucky as fuck/WTF LAC! i was just barely thinking about that. CP3 has never even made it to the WCF. Dude has been one of the best, if not the best, PG in the game the last 5-6 years. Not too mention BG and Deandre Jordan. I really think JJ Reddick let em down, but all the blame goes on Doc for losing a game that shouldn’t even have been a game. What was it 19 point lead in the 4th?
Come on man now LAC has to go out and get a real coach, you know this.....

I called this right? Go back 2-3 pages. First i was fucking pissed LAC blew it because HOU didn’t stand a chance in hell (one fucking player on that team and a bullshit style of play too boot) then i said GS in 5, which happened. They started to look pretty fucking legit in that Memphis series, before that against NOLA they were so sloppy.

Cleveland, we don’t even have to talk about them. Them making the finals was so obvious, sorry to you hawk fans but I think most of you even know thats true. And to be fair to Lebron any team he is on is an immediate finals favorite. Your telling me he is not the MVP :bertstare: I think Washington was the 2nd most viable team but John Wall had to go and get hurt. Im telling you injuries fucked this season. Go and look at how pathetic PDX looked. They were a really strong team back when they were healthy.

So let me clarify my point. Ya in a year without a viable OKC or PDX some crazy shit can happen. (Houston making the WCF, ). I mean the reigning MVP wasn’t even a factor in his MVP defense year, thats fucked and you know it....Plus gotta plug the homie Westbrook, dude damn near got a triple double every night. GS intentionally lost to avoid meeting them in the playoffs so someone up high GS realized they were still a threat. MVP was a straight popularity contest this year.

Steph Curry’s speech should have starting by saying “Thank You Kevin Durant for making this award possible"

No finals (I’m pretty sure also ECF) appearances either though.

Bulls were stacked this year. Its really his fault he met up with Cleveland in the playoffs so early.  Maybe one year early but it was going to happen anyway.

Did the Clippers fire Doc Rivers yet?

I think Doc Rivers is/was a great coach, but nowhere near one of the elites.
The great seasons he had in Boston were more attributed to the skills of his roster rather than himself.

Not only that, the Celtics played a very different style of offense which Doc couldn't adapt to LA. He should get fired if he hasn't been already, there's a couple teams out there that would greatly benefit from having him.

You know what coaching spots are open or are gonna be open in the league this offseason?

On another note, I don't know if you heard about this shit today, but there's a possibility Wade might leave the Heat.
I highly doubt it as he's expressed countless times that he wants to retire in Miami, but this will be his last high value contract of his career. If he gets an offer of say $30 mil for 3 years somewhere else he'd probably take it and I don't blame him. Which would be a shame, when players start bouncing around teams at the end of their careers it's kind of tragic. At least in my eyes.

It's ridiculous that they pay Bosh 24 mil a year, and Goran Dragic will get I think 18 a year (if he opts in next ) season) while wade is getting 16.

Wade gave up so much money when LeBron came down so that he as well as Bosh could all make 18-21 respectively a year and win the rings they did. I hate to say it, but if we lose Wade the Heat will be a very stagnant team in terms of progress for the next 3 years, if not much longer.

That's why I don't like how the draft works in the NBA compared to the NFL. Obviously because the number of players on a single rosters is minuscule compared to the NFL but it would be so much better if a team could go from shit to deep run in the playoffs by having a great draft which is never the case in basketball.

I heard someone on ESPN joke that Wade and Rose would be great together. For 17 games.

That's fucking hilarious and true.

At least Wade's got the excuse of having been in the league for over a decade.
Both him and Rose played very recklessly in regards to their bodies. Rose a lot more so, but it made for some really fun basketball to watch.
