I finally got the Sound Tribe Sector 9 album.

I had to make my local music shop order the thing.  So I went to pick to see if they had them in yet and they had them in the Blues section (dont know why).

Well the CD is pretty rockin and I'm happy with it so far.  Man, I finally have it.  Its pretty Jazzy compared to their live performances but its still very danceable.  It'd be great to trip to as well. :mushroom2:

Their drummer just amazes me  because it sounds like electronic drum machines but its not.

Which album? They have a few.

Live at home?

If that's what you got, it isn't them playing as a band... it's all programmed beats.

And yes, I agree, Zach Velmer(drummer) is the man... but not as good as Mike Lowry(Lake Trout).

Also, to hear Zach play to his full potential, listen to Sucka Punch.

Its called "offered schematics suggesting peace."

I didnt know they had more than one album. I should look through their web site more because there would be no chance of finding them in any cd store around here.

Sucka Punch is one of Velmer's side projects featuring Velmer (Drums), Marc Brownstein (The Disco Biscuits, Bass), Aron Magner (The Disco Biscuits, Synth) and Jamie Shields (The New Deal, Synth). They do mainly improv, and some Hallucinogen in Dub covers. You can find their shows through Etree, ftp's, b'n'ps and BitTorrent.

If you want I will BnP some Sucka Punch shows for you, and I will throw in some Brothers Past for you to check out. They are my favorite band by far, and have been for the past 3 years.
