My first post, would love an ID on these.... hopefully there's enough info! Thanks!
Habitat: Bush area within urban area- western sydney, Australia (picked yesterday! 28/5/15). This is also a sort of woodchipped area, although the mushrooms are not directly growing out of woodchips but the area nearby with lots of leaf litter/bark/grass etc.

Gills: Sorry, I couldn't get great pictures but they appeared whitish/brown, but now they appear almost black as you can see in photo (one day after picking). Adnate or adnexed i think but I'm not very experienced at identifying gills. -

Stem: 3cm-4cm long, 3-5mm thick . white/brown (smaller ones seemed whiter) , bruising blackish after handling. Fairly smooth - there didn't seem to be any veil/ring
Cap: smaller ones are caramel brown, however the larger ones are paler and whitening (i'm not sure if these are the same species, see 1st photo below--) mainly conical but slightly irregular shapes.

Spore print color: practically black, maybe you could say it is very dark brown or purple, hard to say!!

Bruising: They definitely bruise, however, they do not obviously bruise blue, it seems closer to black. Maybe there is a slight bluish to them (if so it is very dark) but I'm not sure if that's just wishful thinking.
Other information: I think these are all the same species (all found within 2 metres of each other and no other mushrooms around that are obviously different species) but the first two pictures are of ones that are much whiter, maybe they are different species or are they just older?
p.s. At home I have discovered a fair few really tiny bugs falling out of the mushrooms, about 1mm long, they are alive and squirming/jumping around. If these are indeed edible mushrooms, are they ok still ok to eat? Maybe tea is the best way? Or would you avoid them completely because of the bugs?
Thanks so much, this is my first post!!

bugs are okay as long as you don't mind them. Just a little extra protein . And if you dry them up then any bugs will fall out of them and probably die. If you are squeamish then go for the tea.

Hey thanks, do you think the picture of the really white one (second from bottom) is the subaeruginosa too? Just older?
I'm still slightly nervous about consuming, it's the first time picking them by myself. Is there are possibility any of these are poisonous species that look like subaeruginosa? You know for sure??
Thanks for your help Agadude

The white one is a bit suspect to me. Did it bruise blue? do you have another picture of it?
All of the other ones I would say yes 100%.

I'm not positive on that one but judging by the spore color on the stipe it is definitely nothing toxic.
