This is really off topic, but did you guys watch the draft lottery last week?
The look on all those college kids' faces was god damn priceless when the Timberwolves won the first pick.
No one wants to go to Minnesota and I don't blame them.
Kind of ties in with what you're saying about players leaving Atlanta, though. Their roster is one star short of a run to the Finals and one player gone, and they're out of the playoffs next season.
Well established players either want to play in a nice city where they can enjoy themselves or in a city where there's already a roster ready to make a deep run in the playoffs. That's why teams like the Jazz (sorry, Elax) and the Wolves never seem to progress.

Dude the Jazz average age is like 24 and they finished the season after the ASG as good as anybody else. The Jazz had a better season than Miami anyway and would have made the playoffs in the weak ass eastern conference.
The Wolves and Bucks will be kickass in a few years. Its like you all suddenly forgot the Spurs created dynasty in exactly the situation you are saying
Maybe its not a good idea to send a 24 year old who almost certainly grew up below the poverty line into the middle of a city like Miami with millions in cash and tell them "have fun.”
Millsap went to the WCF with the Jazz btw.
Sorry but Miami is dead in the water dude.... Wade and Bosh are old as men. Ask Brooklyn or Washington how that works out.

So heres a question for all you dudes.
If Lebron wins a title this year thats 3 titles in 5 consecutive attempts. Does that put him in the same league as Jordan?

You don't have to be sorry about Miami being "dead in the water."
It sucks and I'm well aware of it.
The Wolves and Bucks will never be kickass. No one wants to play there. The Jazz haven't been good since Stockton & Malone, and probably won't be good for a very long time. Just because they played better than Miami this this year doesn't mean they're a good team by any means.
To answer your question, no. When he gets his 4th ring maybe we can start having this conversation. Just as an overall player, maybe, two completely different styles of gameplay to compare them, though.

I'm thinking the Hawks can hold on to their core talent and pick up a go to super star.
If the Cavs win the title the first year LeBron comes back that's an astounding boost for his legacy and does put him in GOAT conversations.

No, if he wins 6 that puts him in the same league as Jordan. Jordan never lost a finals. Winning 3 puts you in Larry Bird territory which is about top five for the GOAT argument. But given the Cavaliers' injuries, if he wins it this year it would be safe to say Lebron put it all on his back. Combined with winning in Cleveland, which I believe hasn't won any kind of championship since Jim Brown was on the Browns in the early 60's, so it would be huge.
But I think the whole going back to Cleveland to redeem his national reputation is only a 50% chance of ever coming true. It wasn't his fault when he left Cleveland (other than that stupid ESPN special on "The Decision".) But trying to change the past, the past that made you look bad, is a very difficult thing to accomplish. I can't think of anyone other than Muhammad Ali that has ever pulled it off at this huge scale.
At any rate, I don't think the Cavaliers can beat the Warriors. It's not Lebron against Curry. I don't think Cleveland can play enough defense to outscore Golden State.

I've been a little butthurt watching him take the Cavs on his back this year and make it to the finals. I won't lie, I miss being able to watch the dude play in person and how amazing he really is at any position on the court.

I can't even imagine how it would be to watch a freak of nature like that play. I'm already awestruck by the pace of the play in the Dutch national league. Which is probably terrible and laughable compared to the NBA pace let alone the explosiveness of LBJ.

Millsap is maybe the player I would be the most upset about losing. Antic is just some ape that comes off the bench. I don't care.

Dude the bench matters.. what are you talking about?
Thats why the warriors are the best team in the west. David lee, iggy, Ezeli, barbosa etc.

Fuck no its not dude. Cavs are a more balanced team and have better players coming off the bench and starting. The reason they are the best is they shoot historically good.
___
Lil B is a terrible rapper.
KD called him a clown and they got in a beef. I dont know why he’s pissed at harden but its really the only relevance the guy has. I dont even think anybody likes his musci.

Lets take a minute to remember the Cavs were 19-20 at a point and looked pretty terrible until February. Now they are playing for a championship.

More balanced how? Jr. Smith is in the starting lineup now so how is their bench better than the warriors?
