I only have access to half inch needles, how to work around this?

I've just been sent a B+ spore print to make my own spore syringe, however I only have access to half inch needles on the syringes that I have (The ones used for IV injection). Is there any way around this, to extend the needles or create a diy needle to trickle it down?
I am likely going to add a dry layer of verm and so I need to have enough needle to get through that layer, and im assuming you want a decent depth to the spores.
Any ideas how I can do this without having to buy any needles online?

You should be fine. Wipe the rim and make the very layer 1/4" thick. You will be all-right. Use the finer vermiculite at the bottom of the bag if you can for the top layer.

Hmm alright then, that's good to know, thank you. Just curious, what length are standard spore needles?

18 AWG 1.5" BD is the uncompromising choice atm but terumo needles work as well.
Some prefer the in 4" needles used for ink cartridge refills but that is only for specific applications.
Certain applications in mycology do prefer the use of the 0.5" needle but it is non-standard so it is not used. Application type I'm referring to is knocking bags but pretty much the 1.5" needle is used.

Thanks a lot I just found out they're actually 5/8 inch so that's a whole ~3mm i have ontop of that . Do you know if there's much difference between dropping the spores to the edge at the top, compared to getting another inch into the substrate?
Thanks again, appreciated.

You should be golden as long as you see the liquid running down the edge of the glass.
