Hello all, I ve been reading and lurking this and other similar boards for years now, learning what I can.
I believe these to be Ps. Cyans. There is a slim possibility they are ovoids, but I dought it. Found on dead fall Adler, In a loamy creek botum. Very textbook. Spore print is black purple brown.

I'm no TI but if they were cyans that would be very irregular, not often seen outside of hardwood chip beds in developed areas or this far out of the fall season.
Way more likely to be ovoids.

There goes my theory.. Either would make me very happy. All were found growing out of decomposing hardwood ( Adler from what I can tell).
The part that through me is they all seam to develop this wavy cap into maturity. Taking my wife's good camera in the woods to get better pics. By later I should be able to show you what I mean, and give you high res. spore print pics. Hopefully I can lock down exactly what this is, to satisfy my out curiosity about the taxonomy of my area. This is my second active find, fist being Gyms. Plus im a weirdo that likes to forage the woods anyway. So I like to know for me.
Thanks in advance for the help, and just let me know anything else I can do to make the confirmation easy.

They're ovoids. What made you doubt that? Cyans in the Ohio River alley is not likely.
