Ready for monotub?

Hey all, I'm pretty new to this forum and I try my best to read through everything before I ask a question. I've done 2 successful grows with brf cakes and Im feeling ready to move on to a mono tub. I'm pretty confused about what to do though I keep stumbling on contradicting information and I don't know what's what. Right now I've got about twelve 8 ounce jars of wbs cooling down (I cant inoculate until I get home from work tomorrow). But anyways this is how I think it goes: Let jars fully colonize Dump into monotub with holes taped over Spread 50% Verm 50% peat moss casing 1/4 or 1/8 the depth of colonized wbs Store in black trash bag until colonized while patching any fast spots Once colonized take out of bag, take off tape, stuff holes with poly fill Profit? Am I doing this right? Thanks in advance

That is just a casing layer....you need bulk substrate material such as coir or manure.....
Then you would mix the WBS with the coir/manure evenly ans let fully colonize .....

Just keep the lid on the tub....no need for a black trash bag.

Once colonized just add FAE......which means untape and stuff.

Just out of curiosity can I ask what size mono you are planning to use? and spawn/sub ratio?
