Is that the new spot?? I'll try to remember to chime in on the weekend. Got my final exam for the senester tomorrow and I make a rule to not fire up the bass cannon(s) while studying or else I can't get shit done and just start listening to tunes and watching those lolsy facebook vines and just yeah. You know with my new system I fully have to 'arm ze laser', like power up and power down the system?? It's pretty legit. 2.1 front of house PA system of the gods! I'm also looking to get one of those 31 channel amp things to cut out all the crap sounds and tune it all too
My tinnitus is getting fucked lately though. I need to start wearing ear plugs at events cos my ears are fucked. I'm starting to go deaf or something.

I saw this company in Europe that creates this product that reduces tinnitus heaps. They give you this course of invisible plastic stickers to stick behind your ears daily, and apparently massively reduces tinnitus
Kk cheers

Man i haven't heard the red chord in like 8 years.
Theres so many bands that just fell off the face of the earth from around that time period.
Through the Eyes of the Dead is another one that not many people have heard of that comes to mind

I like mainly progressive metal. Bands like Between the buried and me, meshuggah, tesseract, etc.
Destraged is an awesome prog metalcore band that's not very well known but is really awesome.

The lyrics in metal never cease to inspire and amaze me.
 This song is about DMT.
Have you ever had a strange revelation Or a cryptic premonition Something you can't describe A fright that lingers inside Sends chills up the spine Reeks chaos on the mind Paranormal, supernatural, or divine Staring into the mirror Red eyes glaring back If your saw your own death Would you tell your friends Visit them in dreams In the timeless space Of the oneironauts Adrift from the limitless light In the here-before, and here-after Ethereal being insight Eternal and omniscient In an ever-changing expanse Unable to wake up Horripilations confirm I know I've been here before Living in a simulated reality My private twilight zone Venturing in the unknown Dead sherpas guide the way Through a glitch in time and space Dimension bizarre Shaman's songs call your name To lightless holograms of black Staring into the mirror Red eyes glaring back Eternal and omniscient In an ever exchanging expanse The incorrigible flame smolders the cephalic shrinks You can barely see The imagination burns bright Feeding into the sight Unable to wakeup Horripilations confirm I know I've been here before Living in simulated reality My private twilight zone Venturing in the unknown
Aeons of awareness limited to a feeble existence Restrictively implanted in the vessel called man Genetically bound to a covert system Never to discover more than is allowed There is no truth Only a perspective The locked physical senses were designed to misinform We must transcend the illusion Breaking the barricade of infinite cognizance A glimpse scurries through the peripheries of allowance There is a doorway in the suppression of the mind A portal to the agenda of the gods Unveiling the knowledge of the celestial ones Unrestricted permeation of assimilated life by the fathers of man Creationism in its sickest form Specifically manufactured in ignorance Gaze upon the blueprints of the absolute The human mind denied a greater understanding of inter-dimensionalism Through a vast control of molecular vibration never intended to be stumbled upon Reduced to third dimensional vessels of possession The third eye clenched shut by demonic grasp We are servants to an opaque order.
We feed on lies while our mind fights Our times promote insecurity the modern age (of) mental instability A question of humanities morality, what is sin? "keep with the times" - forced opon us pressuring our mind - to bend our knees to a global infidelity corrupted/denied, our lives pre-emtped mentally designed to serve a cause of horrendous misdevelopment and told that we are free. Inside of our mind, there a war it rages on a psychology, a battle of organon. Use your eyes - you can see... A society conformed into a blind machine something tells you it cannot. Television, magazines, literature - evil seed It is planted inside you - by the ones who control You must break free and fly... There's a cage that surrounds and its bars are inside your head. A prison of ungainly morals thrust into you from birth. A fruitless quest for happiness. It is your life and they'll fuck with it if you let them take back your mind. See through the lies, you have the right Freedom is there for the taking if you want it enough. The need to be one of strong breed must be realised Destroy the very systems that bring our demise Kill the seed - or it will breed, torture, cerebral confusion, Organon fights! To be saved from humanities tyrants, you just feel so alone You can sense your intelligence bleeding just like blood from a stone. It is seeping with hatred slowly, for those who deem (to) control You need freedom, for the cage will break you can regain your soul. Reality - you shall see Now, not blind the truth you'll find. Human kind, unfortunate reality, destined to chase convienality A quest for individuality. Break free of sin "create the times" - screamed within you taking back your mind - a battle won outright future inspired by selfless beings - who win the fight will be our worlds saviours
On a starved planet with a slow dying race An expedition to obtain Zeal has begun Entranced in decades of psychedelic sleep In the far reaches of space, a thirty year voyage has commenced
A forest of alien spores decorate the interior of the ship Creating overlapping shelves of exotic foreign shrooms Pods of slumber, mimic the layered strain
Each pod unique in design Enveloped by terrestrial hieroglyphs The scent of foreign fungus reeks pungent to The human senses yet calms the alien soul
Synthesis Not needed To thrive Xenogeneic Psilocybin Multiples From within The chilled Damp chambers Anxiously Awaiting To rise
Hallucinogens blanking the alien mind Strains of bacteria bask in metamorphosis Breeding hybrid strains, constantly strengthening Melting minds into stasis
A canvas of intertwining rods of cells Making residence of the stagnant air
Inhuman cyborg pilots the craft And feeds the cells watching over them Soon to grow into abominations Advanced molecules unknown to man
The emperor Preaches the Scriptures of a Foretold prophecy As ancient Alien Shamans use Psychedelics As tools to Become one With the Earths Mighty powers
Foreign color stream Illuminates Their window to the planets Perception stripped of all matter Revealing the paths to vitality
Perpetual wars keep us indebted Control kept in hands of the elite Shadow government with pawns everywhere Web of lies hidden in plain sight War mongering win the name of peace Murder and torture in the name of democracy Propaganda machines perpetuate the fiction Media moguls profit from homogenized recountings Gaining control is easy Fabrication of the enemy Crisis carefully planned and implemented Mass panic, public demands a solution Demands retribution Pre-designed plan proposed and accepted Dissenters silenced or defamed Truth rewritten and subverted Pseudo rebels put in place Assassination, infiltration, suppression Villains propped up then opposed when convenient Illusion of choice, a false freedom Builders of the new world order False flag operations occurring through history Powerful few expanding spheres of influence

I like Cephalic Carnage. They were actually the first band i ever saw at a concert. I remember everyone was smoking weed and i kept wondering what that weird peppery smell was. Completely forgot about this band until now though, thanks for posting that
Alot of metal bands have great lyrics. Most people just never hear them because they usually cant understand the singer.
In fact, metal has deeper lyrics than any other type of music alot of the time IMO
