When you cut them is the flesh a tan or a brown, and are several dark lines running through the flesh (best observed when dry)?

Basically does it look like either of these two?

The flesh will be the key, G.lucidum has a lighter cream to white flesh with no dark bands, but occasionally a brownish patch directly above the pores.

G.curtisii has a darker flesh, almost never white but can be very pale tan. Almost always with some form of dark band, appearing as hard shiny material when dried.

The color of both G.curtisii and G.lucidum can be variable, G.curtisii tends to be duller with less of a shine, but not always I have seen some fairly shiny ones. But lucidum almost always has a high shine to it looking wet even when dry.  Curtisii can also mature a dark red, but is known for its yellow color.

A culture cloned from this,

Turned into this.

Here is what cultivated G.lucidum tends to look like, (not my grow) But verified lucidum.
