This is also what grains that are too wet and bacterial prone look like.....

Do not expect full colonization.....I would start new jars personally.....those grains are way too wet to depend on.

No, it's moisture inside the jar I am seeing, in 3 of the 4 pics.....grains should be completely dry on the outside.....there is also a massive amount of condensation in the jars......it's not residue, it is water. You can see the wettness of the grains that are pressed up against the glass....

I see it now... Yeah it's from the condensation dripping down.. Nothing I can do about that except lower the temps in hopes they will recover. Thanks for the heads up PUSSYFART
I'll prolly try to sit them in direct sunlight to dry them up a bit.. Its all about exploring and experimenting new things and new ways.. And if I fail, I can say Damn PUSSYFART was right! And if your wrong, I'll send you pictures of my end results.. Wait for it

Direct sunlight would just raise the internal temp of the jar and make them condensate more.....

Fuck! I'm almost tempted to collect all the mycelium from all ten jars and just spawn it to sub... Fuck it!!! If it fails it fails..

I'm I fucked or what? PF said it won't colonize all they way thru... So that means I should use what I can and hope for the best... My wbs was dry to the touch I end did the toilet paper test... I had a fan blowing on them as well for hours.. And I squeezed one or two just to see for myself how hydrated they were.. So whatever
I can't help it if I wanted to keep the temp close to 80f during colonization
Their a tropical species

They're, not their....

And yes they are tropical, but they do not need tropical temps....lol...

Optimal temp range is mid 70s.....

After my wbs passed the toilet paper test I tossed in some powdered cat food since your better off too dry. It worked for me

WBS is easy.....I just soak for 24 hours in hot tap water, then strain for 30 minutes and fill the jars.......no simmer/boil....no tp test.....very simple....

Okay. So I thought about what u said PF and I thought about this: instead of shaking up the jars vigorously, I tilted the jars and lightly tapped releasing the seeds from the sides of the jars.. Giving the illusion of Air Exchange from movement... I no longer see condensation up near the lids or from the seeds pressed against the jar... Only with time will I know for sure. What's your opinion on this procedure? I took one jar and shook it all the way up til I didn't see anymore mycelium. When it grows back, and if it grows back, I should be okay.. I hope

I learned the hard way not to simmer/boil but I followed a guide. Was shocked how much moisture ended up accumulating on the bottom of the jars.
