Reishi WBS+BRF Jars -- What would you do?

So I have have four - Pint jars fully colonized with Reishi mycellium. The spore syringes were almost two years old!!!! Anyhow, the substrate I used was wild bird seed and brown rice flour with verm. I am wanting to experiment. I have access to sawdust, cardboard and rye grain.
What are some suggestions on where to go from here?
If you were in control, what would you do at this point?
Let me also note that I have a dedicated lab with a laminar flow hood and a 41.5 Qt. sterilizer with a clean room. Also a dedicated fruiting room with tubs, a mini greenhouse and proper lighting for fruiting.
I also thought about just taking the lid off of one of the jars to see if it would fruit at all but thought that 1) It wouldn't since there was no wood 2) It would be wasteful since I would likely receive better yields by transferring it to bulk substrate.

Hard wood pellet tek. Super simple.
Get some hardwood pellets, put them in a bag, pour boiling water on them, wait to cool, spawn to sawdust and close.

Let me ask you this, like I said, I have a 4 fully colonized jars. Obviously, the mycelium is going to be hard, especially since it is reishi.
Can I do the tek just like it says and (the question) take the mycelium out of the jar, break it up and use that to knock the bags up?
And finally, would it be better to use WBS or Rye next time instead of a BRF and verm tek?

Yes, you can do the tek as described above. You could also do it in a sterile run, as long as you work aseptically with your flow hood, like you asked before your edit. What may work best is to dump the cake straight from the jar and into the bag. Seal the bag, then break up the cake through the bag. That way you're not transferring the cake to a possibly not as clean as you think plastic bag to break it up then transfer to the substrate.
You could use bran if you want. I'm not sure how much it will benefit, but the reishi will eat it up no problem.
Yes it would be better to use wbs or rye than a cake.

Are the wood chips absolutely necessary or would fuel pellets and sawdust suffice?

Thank you so much and good luck on your horniness. Hopefully you meet a nice polar bear you can bone.
