Chitwan ms brf spawned to coir verm and gypsum. It's like I'm having a hard time getting my trays to push surface pins. In fact one of my trays will only form side pins. Is there some trick with trays or something. My cakes push my out more then this. Figured I would try trays for a higher yeild bit am not impressed. Sgfc is at 85% humidity and temp is 70-75.fan and mist several times a day.

How long have you been fruiting it? It could take a week or more to see pins.

Can u see the patches that didn't colonize properly? U should have left it to consolidate for a few more days. What u got here is individual islands of mycelium fruiting not the whole tray

Maybe it's the pics but in person I don't see any spots that aren't colonized. There are thick spots from where chunks of brf are. But it could be. If so how do you think it will do still?

Depends on many factors. If u let it consolidate properly and you put a thin layer of casing. Or even just sprinkle vermiculite on top then keep it moist. That will help to trigger pinning and to have an even flush

Yeah if you want a better yield you have to maintain a 95-99% humidity level with FAE either through misting/fanning daily or properly dialed in polyfill holes.

Dunk the tray that haven't fruited yet for a few hours 3-4. Drain it then sprinkle verm on the top. Spray the verm till it gets moist and wait.
