i bought it for what is equivalent to 28usd...delivery included....its called royal presto 11 litre. usually the 7-11 litre other brands and types would cost me 60 - 150 usd. how tall is it: they didnt write it but i guess it will fit two 1 litre jars. and i cant buy most of those things from an outside source...the shipping fees and taxes would cost me a fortune.

two 1-litre jars doesnt sound like a lot. I've never seen anything over 6 litres with a handle like that, but if it is 11 litres you might be able to fit many more pint jars than the equivalent in litre jars.
I feel you on the shipping costs, I'm non-US myself and finding a large PC without paying 3-500 dollars was hard!

It looks a bit short IMO, but I hope it works well. If it is tall enough though, an 11 litre PC should fit more than just one jar. My 8 quart pc fits 3 quart jars.

Bummer, I just did a quick google and couldn't seem to find a middle eastern ebay. Have you looked at preserving stores? For example pressure canner pressure cooker. I bought mine from a local Aussie guy that sold jars and pressure canners for making jams and stuff. I only found mine because it was called a canner not a cooker.
Best of luck sorry i couldn't be more help

unless you live in israel I seriously doubt ebay is the answer for buying things in the middle east
do you know how many PSI's your PC can do oontribe? You should try to find out the size of it too, height especially. remember you need a trivet in thebottom to raise your jars from the pc bottom!

That PC should work just fine and it sounds like you found a sweet deal. The only thing a small PC limits you to is the amount of stuff you can sterilize at one time. 3 runs vs 1 run type of thing.
Straya has a very good suggestion on where to look for a local pressure cooker/canner supply. Anyone who makes their own canned jams/jelly will have a pressure canner and should be able to help you find a local one. The bigger the better
Which brand PC did you get for $180 straya? All American? Or did they fuck you on shipping for a presto?

Just got a presto mate and only cost $20 shipping so I was pretty happy considering the size of it. I bought another 36 jars and extra trivets also. Aiming to get an All American one day but presto will do for now
I've got a 6L electric PC which i'm going to keep which is great for making agar solution but does suck doing 1 quart jar at a time. 11L should allow you to do 2-3 large jars at a time and you'd be able to fit 8-12 half pints easily.

$20 shipping? Not bad at all. You end up getting the 23qt? That's a good size. 10 quarts at once is what's up.
I started with a 16qt presto a year and half ago or so. It's a little leaky because it needs a new gasket but then again I've run it a few hundred times lol
The other week I picked up an AA 930 for a good price on ebay, lately I've been running 7qts in the presto and 14 in the AA. If it's a good day I can have 63 qts of WBS sterilized and ready for innoc the next day
I'm not addicted....

haha that's awesome bro, that's alot of sterile WBS... More importantly a hell of a lot of psychedelic fungi
14 qts? Holy fuck that's so impressive!!!
I'm just pumped to not have to do one qt jar at a time haha. Fuckin tedious

I think 11 litre should be big enough to fit at least 2 quart jars. and i dont know if it can go for the 15psi but i think they all do...right!

That'll work just fine. If you can do at least 2qts at a time then mini-monos or a Greenhouse sound like your best bet. If you can't get to 15psi, only 10 or 12 then you'll have to cook em for longer.

It'll be sweet bruz. With the dollar conversion and postage surely it can't be triple can it?
Yeah just run a few cooks and you'll have enough spawn in no time. You could also just do two jars and do Grain 2 Grain transfers which will give you 10 jars if you don't want to PC
