That's definitely not cubensis.
If you started this with a spore print or syringe perhaps it was mislabeled.
Maybe drop a pic over in the identification section?

looks like some sort of inky cap or similar to me. probably an environmental contamination, can't imagine anyone capping those spores in a syringe!

It was from a spore print of mine. 2 other trays produced normal cubensis. Those things died in the tray. The rest of the tray is still colonizing. Strange.

It's a coprinus variety. a trash mushroom that commercial cultivators get

I believe they come from your bulk substrate. was it properly pasteurized? I don't know about the fruit fly vector. ?

Those are commonnly found on compost piles. How did you pasteurize?

They come in my hpoo all of the time. Since I used my hpoo to fertilize my vegetable garden, they have been popping up almost everyday since fertilizing. Interesting that they ended up in your colonized substrate.
