Is this thread about how to sneak around, or is it about how to keep off the radar? That is, are you explaining how to lay low from government/state or people in general?

I would like it if you gave a lesson on freeganism and where to find quality food for free - whether it be out of a dumpster or from a small potato plot.

i was thinking the same thing. i'll re-read this in the morning when i'm not drinking.

But for now, there's a book called "Evasion" that reminds me of your post. The publishers CrimethInc talk about this kind of material. I think they were more of an anarchist type of mindset.

It worked out nicely for me though since i was already a street kid at the time of reading it. The story is pretty detailed about the guy's experiences on how to travel, steal, dumpster dive, and do other things. All on first hand account. I also share his love for bagels.

Interesting book.

Social engineering in particular stands out to me. I just received two of Christopher Hadnagy's books. Reading them now. I'll be following this thread.

Dakota fire holes are used for stealth when camping.

It is a fire hole with a tunnel that leads to another hole so that the smoke is more dissipated.

How to be Invisible is a good book on how to reduce your "footprint" as much as possible.

To walk more silently, when your lead foot is about to touch the ground allow the heal to touch gently without making noise. When it has full contact with the ground push off with your back foot as you lower your leading foot along the outer side of it. This is so that as you relieve weight from the back foot you are smoothly putting that weight into your front foot which is already on the ground.

There are many other ways to walk quietly but I just felt like I would post this

This thread has great potential I am interested to hear more random stealth tactics.
Also more specifically are there any encryption programs that anyone could suggest for bitcoin transfers and messages?

Hi, bit of a late reply but if you're still looking for encryption programs then gpg4win is quite a popular one. Used by very many successfully and there are a few good tutorials to get you nicely acquainted with it.
