Advice needed: monotub pics w/ tiny fruits. polyfill too tight? Too much moisture on top of sub?

I've been posting periodically with questions as my ms-wbs- frank's tek monotub experiment progresses.
I'm now at the fruiting stage and while everything is going fine, the pins aren't developing into full size mushrooms before breaking their veils.
Here are some pics:

I've read up on the size issue and it sounds like it comes down to either there not being enough water in the substrate, or just bad genetics.
I have a fan blowing in the room and the temps are around 72-80. coir/verm/gypsum for the sub.
Does anyone see anything in these pics that sets off a red flag?
I nicked off these first fruits as their veils had broken, but perhaps they could've been allowed to keep growing a while longer....How long does it take after the veil breaks for the average mushroom to drop spores?
Does my polyfil look too tight on the bottom holes? I followed Frank's tek and stuffed them tight as I could on the bottom. I wish there was a proper way to gauge the proper amount....
Thanks again to all.

Genetics. Most of wat I see from the pics tho don't look to have torn the veils yet and just look like pins to me

The cut shrooms look like the veils have torn, maybe 80 is too hot? I heard 76 is ideal, but I dont have any personal experience and dont know the how much temperature variation effects the growth. Was the substrate completely colognised before induced to fruit?

whenever I have stunted fruits its usually a moisture issue, I've dunked casings with stunted pins over night and they grow surprisingly quickly after a day to bounce back, or you could just mist it really well and leave the lid loose so it doesn't fester.

A dunk may be in order.
It sure looks wet to me tho....
I take it dunking won't ruin the current pinset?

Nah...they can survive the dunk...actually if you don't weigh it down they won't even get wet because your sub will float...that's how I release my spent subs I toss em in the river (off topic my bad)

I'll start looking at dunking teks. It'll be worth knowing regardless.
I'm hoping to get some feedback on the pics. Does anyone see anything (moisture content on the sub, humidity levels based on the walls, etc) that might show the errors of my ways?
Some of the mushrooms have fuzzy feet, so I'll be trying to bump up the FAE. Is it possible that a lack of FAE would be contributing to the dwarf size or premature maturation of the fruits?
Also If anyone knows the approx. time between the veil tearing and spores dropping I'd appreciate hearing it.
Lots of respect and appreciation to everyone.

Looks like either the sub was too wet or genetics. If the tub still feels really heavy I wouldn't dunk it, just a misting for the next flush. I doubt its just genetics unless your using a clone, isolate, or did a lot of transfers from the original ms. It will probably putout a good second flush.

Bless your heart, Pasty. Thank you for taking some time to evaluate.
Regarding the weight, that's an interesting point. That advice belongs in a good monotub tek:
"Weigh the tub once after mixing and again as fruiting conditions are introduced. after the first flush or if the tub seems dry, weigh again and compare to the previous weights. Once the tub drops below x ounces, it may be time to rehydrate."
The sub has been separating from the walls over the past 48 hours. Is that a typical reaction for a tub in its first 4-5 days of fruiting conditions?
Edit: Also I ms'd to WBS to monotub. Mazatapec strain.

IME in a perfectly hydrated sub the shrinking away from the wall should happen before the first flush, thats the big contributor to side pins. The fact that its just starting now for you makes me think ut is indeed a case of the sub being too wet. Your next flush should be really good.

Off topic, mostly, what's the size of that tub?

not off topic at all.
I used the standard 66 qt. Sterlite tub from Malwart.
5 quarts of colonized WBS spawned to about 7 (or was it 9? Pretty sure it was 7) quarts of coir & verm w/ gypsum.
