2 Pints 2

Hey guys! I knocked up 2 pint millet masters with a nice clone last night. The wedges used were fair size, about 1.5"x .75" and shaken around pretty damn good. I check today and they are already leaping off
So the plan is to G2G these to more millet masters. Then those will be expanded further. I am looking for fast colonization for the P1 G2G, then carry that to the next one. Should be a fun ride
April 24th. . .

May 2nd. . . Just shook these two guys. Shouldn't take long for them to finish. Plan is to expand to more millet. Gonna be sweet.

May 6th. . . These are almost fully colonized. The plan is to G2G them to a dozen pints of millet. That should make it easy to do the final G2G for this grow. Pasty I gotta thank you for posting about how you do millet masters in pints for G2G. Its not only way easier to do in the SAB, its actually damn fast too

May 8th. . .
Well master jars are ready so I G2G them to 11 pints. I was gonna do a round dozen but decided I wanted that last one for something else. I was a little uneven in my distribution but I really don't want them all to finish on the same day anyway. I think I'm gonna be cooking a lot of grain in a week or so

May 18th. . .
Got a little sidetracked and forgot about this little project. But I checked yesterday and all seems well. Most of the 11 pints are fully colonized and are ready for G2G. A couple that received less inoculate from the initial G2G will need a little more time.

However I now have loads of pints, ready to G2G. I will be prepping grain for some time. The grain will be oats, which are cheap in my area. The plan will be roughly to attempt to expand these to 66 quarts of oats or so. Should be enough to run a few tubs
May 24th. . .
Have G2G 4 masters into 24 quarts so far. Have 7 more masters to go. Its proving to be a big job so I might bite the bullet and attempt to G2G them into some bags I have that I was chicken to try. I have so much spawn that even if it doesn't work in my SAB it can't hurt none to try. But its leaping off into the oats quite nicely. I may shake a few of them tomorrow to speed it along. Gonna be spawning tubs soon

June 7th. . .
Well I think some of the quarts from the initial G2G were a touch bacterial. Shook em and they recovered and fully colonized but slowly. Smelled fine tho so I decided to spawn them with a high ratio. Tub one will be suspect, tub two should be solid. The proof if tub one doesn't contam will be in the yield. Tub 3 will also have a few of the suspect spawn jars in it and tub 4 will not. Plan to spawn 3 tomorrow and 4 should be ready to go by Wed or so. Also used some of the masters to inoculate some Mudafucka style bottles with the PP5's. Been wanting to try those. Should have some pics soon.
Meanwhile I decided on of the pints looks off so I am going to case and top fruit it on its own. Still have two more pints left. Gonna probably G2G them here soon.

Wow! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrreat grow!
I want to try to find some straight millet. I think that'd be nice to work with, especially for grain masters, so many inoc points.
Straining that shit is annoying though... ends up all over the kitchen for days.

Thanks guys. Gonna G2G a dozen and shake a few more tonight. Should be spawning some soon
Regarding the millet it is a little messy but, when just doing pints its a fair amount easier.

So tubs 1 to 3 got put into fruiting tonight. Tub 1 is definitely suspect. Recovery was slower than 2 and 3 and colonization not as thick. Hopefully a high spawn ratio pulls it through and I see a flush. 2 and 3 look pretty decent. Tub 4 was spawned this evening and there will be a tub 5 with some late G2G jars.
2 other pints were used to inoculate a bunch of Mudafucka bottles as that tek looked cool and I think I read that you could use grains for it. Pics of those later on. Two pints sat too long and are starting to knot up. I will probably try casing them and just fruiting them. 4 other quarts that were done with the spawn used for tub one will not be spawned and I will try top fruiting them as well. Will probably just pluck a grain outta one of them to put to agar so as to keep this culture rolling. Meanwhile here are the pics. . .
