Brf tray fruited before wbs. kind of unexpected.

Honestly I figured the wbs tray would fruit way faster. The mycelium looks healthier to me and it's a way better spawn.

Not surprised. Wbs is starchy and quite bacterial endospore filled. Also are these the same isolates? Or just multispore? Another factor is genetics. I bet if you did Wbs right (no starch and pcd for a minimum of 2 hours to kill bacteria) it could be better. However brf is quite noob friendly. A lot cleaner too. Just might be telling you to work on your Wbs prep :P

It was soaked for 12 hours rinsed well boiled for 20 min then rinsed and pressure cooked for 90+ min. Chitwan ms. Colonization was quick. No sign of bacteria or molds. Smelled nice and mushroomy upon opening jar. So I don't know about bacteria but it could be. I plan on using organic rye next since I found a source near me. Actually have an interview there tomorrow lol
