Tin tray & brf

I crumbled two half pint brf cakes in my bulk and put them in a tray. I've been reading that having spawn at the top layer invites contamination and adjusted my other trays accordingly. This tray was made yesterday and the crumbled cakes are looking fuzzy. Could this be cob or trich?

Can anyone tell me what this might me? This is in another tray and I don't know if the pic is too blurry but on the side if you can see there looks like yellow droplets. It almost looks like a yellow gel capsule.

Metabolites bro your mycelium is doing that to break down the substrate for food and fight off potential bacteria (not too worry this stuff is a powerful anti bacterial agent and does its job very well) your gucci bro =)

I appreciate all the help. One last pic. This is a pic of the tray that I started the thread. That color...should I be worried? I'm noticing other parts may be turning this color or grayish.

It's bruising from being dry in that area imo. It looks wet in there/slow to colonize. What is your pasteurization/field capacity tek?

It's hpoo with coir verm and gyp. It was sterilized, before I mixed it up made sure it was a little wet. I used two cakes to a pound of this mixture. I should have added more cakes to it just thought I could get by. I mist and fan 3 times a day 8 hour intervals. What should I do?

You've lost me. Is it in fruiting or colonizing? Where's the poly holes? Usually the liner is cut down a bunch if you're at fruiting (misting and fanning)
That tub looks like it wouldn't need any misting or fanning.. most people don't mist or fan.
Also for future reference we pasteurize substrates.

It's in fruiting. The liner isn't cut at all. So should I cut it right to the substrate? It's in a scfc. I had a monotub set up for this but decided against it. Should I just move my trays back to the monotub? I bought this substrate from a vendor and wasn't in the position to make my own for pasteurization

I see just keep doing what you're doing and leave the liner as is. Trays in the sgfc is fine. Just make sure the surface is shimmering 24/7 with no pooling water. That blue spot is bruising so it's nothing to worry about and it's probably from misting a little aggressively cobbled with tomentose genes
