These look really strange are they safe to eat?
    #21713990 - 05/23/15 12:16 PM (8 years, 8 months ago)

These were on my second flush.  Holes in the top, pretty empty stems.  I couldn't figure out if they were mutants, flies had got to them, or they were dangerous to eat.  Any advice would be appreciated:

Some mutants...they are safe to eat as long as you know that the species you grew is edible.

They look fine to me. If you're really worried just dry them before eating them.

Well in terms of growth standards it's not ideal but it's edible and won't turn inedible because it has water on it. If you found that in a field you'd be all OMG HELL YA. Wild fruits get water logged and it's perfectly safe..

I wasn't talking about edibility.

Roger! I was thrown off because the question in the op title is are they edible? You just said what they look like and I wasn't sure what it meant.
