It's better to forget your mistake and move on then it is to keep dissapointing yourself. Can you take us through your process so we can help you diagnose your problem and help you find a solution?

I made LC then i made PF substrate verm water flour 2:1:1 then i filled aluminium trays and some jars with it made 6 holes on the trays and 4 on the jar lids then i put alm foil over them PCed them then i inoculated LC in the holes then i incubated them at 26 C and after 1 month 3 of the trays were 100% colonized and the jars were like they are now the rest of the trays werent they were done only the half top and they were too wet on the bottom after 1 more month the trays were contaminated cuz i had opened them... only 1 more was 100% colonized not contaminated and 2 more weeks and the jars still arent moving ...

I've done this successfully (using the term lightly) but the jars were at least 50% colonized.
Had a bunch of jars stall out before colonizing the bottoms.

Washed away all the uncolonized parts and spawned to coir. I was expecting it to contam but it didn't.

Ended up with a half oz from what should have been thrown away so I was still pretty happy.

What is your sterilization procedure? We are looking for the culprit, it's either your cooking process or your inoculation process. If it were mold it would most definitely be your inoculation procedure. Since its bacteria, it could be either.

Been using a SAB lately. I think those were made before I had one though. Also, I don't have a PC so I kicked up cooking times to 2 hours.
Both have seemed to help.

Ok ill tell all the details tell me if i did something wrong I had shrooms from my previous grow so i made spore print from a cap on sterilized foil then i made a syringe using distilled water then i made a LC jar using 4% honey then i inoculated it with the syringe after 1 month the LC was rdy to go i did all above in glove box.I baked the foil in the oven for 2h for the print and the LC i made it using sealed jar with only 1 hole in the cap filled with RTV silicone after i inoculated it i used syringe needle with alcohol cotton on top of it to let clean air in it then i removed the syringe. After 1 month i made the substrate i bough grains and milled them to flour then i put them in the jars using PF ratio and PCed em for 40mins-1h then i inoculated them in the glove box and left them in the incubator which i sanitize using alcohol and bleach i also use alcohol and bleach in my glove box.

Print > Syringe > LC is not reliable, especially if you are relatively inexperienced. You need at least 1 hole for GE, and with brf cakes you want 4 holes, without rtv, so you can have 4 inoculation points as well as GE. A sealed jar will stall.

Ty for the video i think i found what screwed them up i filled my PC with a lot of water and in the video it says that i shouldn't do that also when i filled them with substrate i also packed it tight and in the video it says that i shouldn't do that too i also forgot to wipe the sides of the jar xD

Also the ones that got contaminated were the heavy ones they got lot of water in them so they probably got screwed water ratio from the overfilled PC also i haven't gotten green mold yet only this sour smelly bacteria thing.

Did you flame sterilize your needle before every injection? Next time just to be on the safe side, drop some of your lc on agar first to make sure the culture is clean.

Did you crack the lids?
Sometimes the substrate gets packed down and can't breath.
That's been my experience at least. Before you toss 'em I'd say crack the lid, sniff, and see what happens.

I'd suggest taking your glove box and taking out the gloves, sabs are so much better. Even if you had a flame in the box its purpose would be defeated with a flame moving air around. With a still air box you flame outside the box and work inside the box due to the ease of putting your arms in.
You must flame sterilize the needles. Alcohol won't work. It sanitizes

You can do as you stated but you said the cakes smell sour which means they have a bacterial infection. This will most likely yield you little to no mushrooms but on the other hand, you could get lucky. But if I were you, I would toss them cakes and start over.

The fuck? Why would you bleach mycelium? And baking soil in the oven? You mean potting soil or what?
Don't bleach mycelium, and next time use bucket tech for bulk

Basically I just cut as much coir as I think I need for 1 sub off the brick and hydrate with boiling water. Add the verm and stir it all up. Let it cool and you're good to mix with spawn.

So today i checked the tray in which i mixed them mycelium and the soil and the top is like 90% colonized but on the bottom there is little to no colonization should i touched it and i think it has lost some of its moisture should i add some water or not ? I've sealed the tray and put 1 big patch of tyvek on it when should i remove the seal ? Does it have to be 100% colonized when it is mixed with soil ?
