Habitat:found out in foxton nz in a pine tree forest just growing singly or in twos or threes out of the pine needles mainly in little clearings
Gills: pure white for the small and medium shrooms with the largest being a bit creamier not sure what else to look for
Stem:all white stems length ranging from about 8cm to about 15cm, diameter about 1cm to 3cm at the cap all widening about 1cm more at the bottom and ending in a roundish bulb, rough rings around the top of the bulb.
Cap:diameter ranges from 5cm for the unopened ones up to about 20cm. Color of the caps are bright orange with a darker patch in the middle rough white spots on all of them too. The small ones are roundish with the larger ones being flatter and the biggest concave
Spore print color:white I think but I'm not sure have no idea what I'm looking for
Bruising:very little bruising even after trying quite hard to get some maybe the gills get a little bit yellower

Are there any other mushrooms in nz that can be bright red and orange with the white warts, I've tried to research as much as i possibly can but im still not clear on that

500% sure those are amanita muscaria, they don't have any "really similar" lookalikes

First lot ready to go dried and powered, and I've got 10grams on the stove steeping in water getting all ready for my virgin taste of Amanitas
