HELP WITH HORSEPOO COMPARED TO COFFEE/COIR?

EDIT.
CAN I YIELD JUST AS MUCH WITH JUST SIMPLE OLD COFFEE/COIR? I've grown off and on for years but I remember coir being a casing and it was news to me when I read about how it's got lots of nutes and verm is a better casing and coir is better as a substrate.
Can I skip some of this hassle till I move at least(couple months) and just go hog wild with bricks of coir and spent coffee grounds?
THANK YOU FOR ANY HELP. I've lurked and learned new things I didn't know when I was away for years but I also couldn't seem to find a specific yield comparison between HORSEPOO and COIR.
If it's even close I'll definitely be getting a few bricks.
HORSEPOO was always my gold substrate tho, I've always had the best results with horsepoo. I'm not religious but if I had to pick a 'spirit animal' it would be The_Horse.
AGAIN, thank you for any help you can off guys/gals.

Cultivating active mushrooms is a felony and you are taking a huge risk by doing so. If hpoo is a big deal, guess what will happen if she found out it was for something illegal? I strongly advise against it.

Coir works fine. A lot of us use it. Go easy on the coffee. I've had a lot of success but it dose raise the risk of mold while offering only slight benefits. In the future try not to imply that you plan on selling your illegal mushrooms.

Shit, this rant came from an email I sent to a friend originally. Friends just keep pushing and pushing me to grow again that's where the money comment really comes from mostly, none of them can do it (they could they just think they couldn't or just wont...I always offer to help people start but very few take me up on it) I hear it constantly. Will edit, thank you for being reasonable, helpful, and FRIENDLY.
My main question is tho, will the yields I've enjoyed with hosepoo be comparable with just coir?

Hpoo will give you a slight edge but it is still perfectly possible to get good yields from coir. I can pull 5 lbs a month out of a small closet using coir.

If your landlord already knows you're up to something, just wait until you move. Have some fucking patience.

THIS ISN'T HOW I WANT TO START MY NEW ACCOUNT, I'd like to just delete my thread. All I wanted to know is if the yield I've enjoyed for years with horse poo will be comparable with coir. Annnnd then I see this. THANK YOU< that's all I really needed to know. if it was half as effective or something it wouldn't be worth it. I just wanted to know how well it works compared to horsepoo. I can take the elevator with 3 bricks or coir without any real problems. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH. Doesn't surprise me a fellow Canadian was so easy going and to the point. Again, much appreciated.

NO. you wait, I've got a great look amazonian jar ready to go and I'm not waiting. DUDE, what she THOUGHT I was up to was growing a few plants on the balcony. what did she say, RATS will be attracted to SOIL on a 3rd floor balcony. This woman hates anyone under 40. She doesn't like bikes in the hallway, not stacked bikes that would be reasonable she doesn't like bike riders moving CLEAN BIKES thru the hallway to their suite. She breaks tenant rules regularly by walking in on people.
She asked me if I was buying weed of my little brothers friend just cause he looks like a classic stoner. She's not a reasonable person and yet I put up with everything she says and talk to her with the utmost respect. She doesn't get to win this time, no way. She's an apt manager NOT an owner and she's not a reasonable human being. It was true I was going to keep the sub on the balcony. And I was going to pasteurize enough to start a bin with 5 inches of sub at a time.
My apt is fucking spotless. She doesn't get to take my money for years and fuck me this time. I'm moving in 2 months tops and I am NOT WAITING. My fruiting chambers wont even look like anything and she wont be coming in my suite and then I'll move.
I get what your saying but I've put up with a year of bullshit relating to other issues, you have no real idea about the backstory here, I've been nothing but reasonable up until now and today I pushed it a bit , my big mistake was trying to go in the front door. THIS IS WHY I STICK TO THE BACK DOOR. I can't do shit without the 3rd degree. NO ONE IN THIS BUILDING CAN. Even some of the seniors get shit for literally NOTHING. She's just become way too bitter and mean. She doesn't get to win this time.
MODS, please delete my thread and sorry for including the rant to my friends email, that was lazy and short sighted. I'm all shook up from her bullshit. I'm an ideal tenant 95% of the time, and even when she's mistreated me I've always kept my cool and been polite.

If all you wanted to know was a simple answer to a simple question, then why make a long drug out thread about shit that doesn't have any bearing on the question being asked?

You're moving in less than 2 months and you just can't fucking stand to wait that long. You're willing to risk everything because you are impatient and want to get one over on your apartment manager.
Don't be stupid...and I'm not being mean when I say this bro. Think about the consequences of your actions and what could happen if one (more) little thing goes wrong. It's not worth it. Cultivating is seen as an intent to distribute and that is jail time. Wait wait wait...2 months is nothing.

I ANSWERED THAT MOMENTS AGO BEFORE ANYONE ASKED.

NO. it don't want to 'get one over' I want to do something I've been waiting to do for months. It's been a really hard year for me -long story- and this makes me happy. I'm going to do it because I enjoy it.
I don't think you're being mean, you were a little uncomfortably stern at first but not mean exactly imo. I already waited long enough, i waited so long a couple syringes formed air bubbles and it's probably why my texans contamed. I started one amazonian jar with the same sub prepped the same way and injected the same way and it's been a real show stopper in terms of colonization speed and aggressive tissue expansion. I AM NOT WASTING THIS NOW, I simply cannot do that.
I've grown off an on for many, many years. Keeping one bin hidden is NOTHING TO ME. I mean we're talking one quart of spawn, how big to you really think I'm going to try and make it? I'm not stretching one measly quart into a huge grow. Trust me, I got this.
Also, I'm Canadian, even if caught we're talking probation, that's about it probably. IBH, I wouldn't even expect THAT. I live in BC, even dudes growing under 10 lights get NOTHING their first time regularly. I get caught with one small bin? Also keep in mind the general ignorance of most people even the courts when it comes to mushrooms,
Nothing bad will come of this. In fact if something does I will come back and message you just to tell you that you were in fact right and I was wrong to grow ONE SMALL BIN.
Remember, we're talking one quart jar. I'm thinking 6 quarts of bulk sub to that one quart probably, NOTHING.

Hope you're right! We all have bad days man...I have bad days all the time for no reason at all. As a matter of fact, I'm going up up up on the mental roller coaster as we speak. Slept 4 hours in 3 days.
You can't delete threads, but just forget this ever happened lol...I will edit out the quote if you really are sincere.
