Indian Warrier help

I just smoked some Indian Warrier for the first time and I am very surprised at how intense the effects are, I was not expecting to feel much. The effects are very strange and interesting. After taking a hit, it feels so much like a cannabis rush that I actually though I had mixed up my Indian Warrier cigarette with one of my cannabis cigarettes. However, after about a minute, the effects change to feeling nothing like cannabis. I experience tranquility and muscle relaxation that is very pleasant. I am looking for more information about this herb but can find very little. Erowid only has one report.

I just mixed it with some cannabis. Wow, this is strong, I think I like it as much as kava.

Sorry you mind explaining what this 'indian warrior' you are smoking actually is? Is it one of those 'synthetic cannabis' type compounds?

Sorry, Indian Warrior is pedicularis densiflora (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pedicularis_densiflora). I only use natural substances.

The only unpleasant side effect I experienced was difficulty thinking and focusing, which I suppose is to be expected when taking a sedative.
Anyway, it has worn off now but I actually enjoyed it quite a bit. I wouldn't say it is particularly recreational, more medicinal. I work a difficult job and when I get home, my muscles are always tired and sore. After smoking Indian Warrior, all my muscles became pleasantly relaxed. It put me in a strange headspace though, it had an almost a slight psychedelic/entheogenic feel to it, which is unusual for a sedative. Overall, very interesting effect even though I did not find the headspace enjoyable, just strange/interesting.

Got to try some of that then! Thanks dude. I've been getting into Kratom lately and by substituting it for alcohol on Saturdays I have been able to give up both drinking and smoking.
It gives me just enough of a buzz to have no desire to blow of steam at the end of the week getting drunk(and then smoking).
I would love to find another such substance though, so I got to look into this! I dont really want to be getting into smoking anything though. I also dont want anything too much like canabis psychologically speaking, as as much as I love and miss smoking it sometimes, I dont want something like that back in my life.
I dont know if you are prone to anxiety like me (bad trips and cannabis means cannabis it always rather scary these days) when you smoke weed, but how is it for things like paranoia and motivation?
As long as they dont go and outlaw kratom I can see myself using it permanently as a replacement for alcohol.
I advise everyone to give it a try but of course as with anything no more than once a week!

It doesn't cause paranoia like weed or couch lock you, but I wouldn't say it makes you motivated to do stuff either. I kind of just wanted to lie down, although I had no trouble moving around if need be. Kava is another herb you might want to try.

I wonder how it would go smoked with Rue extract. Rue extract and Cannabis go great together. I'm probably gonna check this stuff out next month, see what it may be able to do. Also, i wonder how it would go smoked on Ayahuasca.

I combined it with cannabis and kava yesterday and it made things extremely trippy, visuals and everything. Very strange visuals.

It will couch lock you if you have enough. Me and a friend had 8g teas each. Man it was sedative, pleasantly relaxing. But pricy.

I smoke about half a joint's worth to get muscle relaxation, but I can feel a headrush from a single hit.
