Dwight and Josh will have to be big factors in the series. Dwight was a non-factor in the regular season and Josh joined late. The sweep in the regular season means very little. I do think GS will take it in six though.

Golden State’s offense is incredible if you let them run.
Houston is going to have to slow that shit down. Oh and guard Steph Curry, its insane how many times they lose coverage on him and give up open shots.

Rockets are going to have to have to find some consistent scoring outside of Harden. Howard is going to have to make the Warriors bigs pay, otherwise I don’t see Houston winning.
Oh and Harden needs to grow some balls and play some defense.

Harden has too much of an overinflated ego to realize that he needs to play defense.
I don't know why but since he's left OKC I've grown to not like him just a bit more every time I watch him play.

It is truly amazing to watch GS pass and shoot in the perimeter, though. It's a thing of beauty when it works.
I'm thinking they got this series vs the Cockets.

I feel ya on all of that.

Except the screens piss me off because they are so well done.
Josh Smith and Dwight Howard need to come alive if the rockets want any chance.

Ariza on the other hand is a fucking pimp, i dont remember him being that good back when he was with the lakers.
Harden knocks down more clutch shots than Steph and thats just the truth, problem is Steph isn’t a complete liability to his team when he doesn’t have the ball.

I saw a video preview of the Cavs/Hawks where the guy called Cavs in seven. That through me off. I don’t see the Cavs dropping more than 2 games.

I've always been a fan of Ariza over the years with all the different teams he's been with because he's always showed great potential to be an amazing player. I have no idea why or how he didn't live up to it until now.
What matters is that he's going strong now and it's fun to see. I just hope he can keep it up.

I was gonna comment on Steph and Harden but you took the words out of my mouth. Or rather..thoughts out of my mind.

That DeMarre injury looks very serious... Hyperextended the knee. No contact, screaming on the floor.

The Hawks need him I fear.

Am I allowed to bitch on a 27 pts / 8 reb / 6 assists guy? Because LBJ is choking in the final minutes here against Millsap...

(And right on qeue he blows by him and potentially seals the deal)

Hawks playoff MVP. We'll see after the MRI.

The Hawks were a few bounces from winning that game but ball don't lie. Down one  :dead:  :frown:

What an amazingly fun game to watch this evening. Actually, both games so far in the series.

The Rockets are playing alright I think, of course they could be better but I was surprised at how efficient GS' defense was tonight, especially with their traps, compared to how they usually play which is the biggest reason I think they got the win.
Bogut's inside presence was also a big difference maker as well. If he played like that every night then I don't think the Rockets would even have a chance.

I believe GS still had something like 16 turnovers, but for them that's a pretty good number.

Harden Just had an ok game. He was amazing in some plays and garbage in others. The same issue remains that he can't play defense so when he has an average offensive night, it looks like shit due to his D.
Howard and Ariza both played very well but that's not enough to pick up Harden's slack tonight.

The 4th quarter was just insane but what I find most intriguing is that whenever GS throws up a 3 and misses the whole crowed screams "awwwwwww!" Just very weird to see/hear that as it's not something that happens with any other team.

I had a great time watching it. What'd you guys think?

I thought harden was great last night until the last play. He basically answered every time he needed to. Josh Smith was playing like trash and Dwight Coward was pulling his usual antics.

I was talking about Harden's gameplay with a few friends today and they seem to agree with you.

I'm not a fan of him personally but I try my best to be biased. He hit a lot of shots when the Rockets needed them most, I just think he has a very hard time playing to his full potential.

Howard on the other hand I thought played really well. He was supposedly really sick but I could care less about that.
It wasn't an incredible night for him, but if it wasn't for his inside presence that game wouldn't of even been close IMO.

Bogut was sick too and he had the game of his life. Personally, im done making excuses for Dwight coward. At this point in his career its put up or shut up!

True.

It's been too many years of him just scraping by.
Good bud of mine is an Orlando Magic fan so when Dwight was still playing with them I'd watch just about every game unless the Heat were playing at the same time.

Anyways, the Magic organization pretty much re built the franchise and even the stadium for him. And did he do? Fucked everything up. There was that one year where he led them to the Finals, but once there turned into a shell of himself.
