my casings are refusing to pin :(

i cased some rye grain about a week ago from jars that had been hibernating in the fridge for a couple of weeks. checked on them after 3 days and one was already covered in mycelium in a few spots, so i uncovered it and gave it light to initiate pinning, dropped the thermostat down to 72 or 73ish, and started fanning/misting twice per day. i uncovered my other two casings a couple of days later after a bit of patch casing. another thing i've been doing is opening the miniblinds in my room in the morning when i wake up, taking the lid off of my fruiting chambers, and letting them sit in the indirect sunlight coming through the window for a few minutes. so far nothing has happened...not even primordia as far as i can tell.
i think it might be too humid. i'm fairly sure that i used too much water in the vermiculite casing layer. when i mist the fruiting chambers i mist them so that the inner sides are covered with beads of moisture but not so much that water starts dripping down the sides, which i think is standard procedure, but i've noticed water pooling in the bottom of the fruiting chambers. is this normal or a sign of too much moisture? also if i look really closely at the mycelium growing on the surface of the fastest casing, i can see little beads of moisture on it. lastly, i've noticed that my fruiting chambers are not airtight. one side of the lids always pops up a little bit for some reason. is it necessary to have airtight containers?
any comments/suggestions are appreciated, thanks.

your only problem is a lack of patience. roll a fat joint, smoke it and chill out. remember,if you inoculate, they WILL come. just maybe not on the time frame you had in mind for them.
posting a few picks would help us to put your mind at ease.

And if that doesn't put your mind at ease... you will see the humor in the situation regardless.

It's only been a week and to much humidity isn't gonna stop a casing from pinning.
