HELP questions regarding t. Bridgesii

Hi I have 2 t. bridgesii and I noticed a split in ones spine. I plan on making one into tea and the other I'm planning on either turning into cuttings or just leaving it be to grow bigger. My questions are is the split bad? And the other cactus fell over like 3 times durin the ride from the plant nursery and I'm wondering if I should worry about the roots being pulled out from the falls. Any input is greatly appreciated!!

*second picture is of the roots of the one that was tipped over Third is the split in the ribs In your opinion which should be used for tea and which should be used for growing?

First of all, they are both Pachanoi, not Bridgesii Second, i think that the split is nothing to worry about, one of my exemplars had something like that that cam from nowhere, and it healed islef alone. Third, i wouldn't worry about roots, because it has fallen on it's side, i would be more concerned about smacking damage on the skin. Fourth, i dunno if one of those is enought to make a tea, but i woul use the second one , as i do like the first's one shape best.

The split is nothing to worry about, usually means it got too much water. Well that was the case with mine anyway. We've a lot of rain lately and several of my outdoor pachanoi's split open (worse than that). They heal up and continue on.
And like Lemnaminor said, it's a pachanoi / san pedro.

Damn I wasn't sure lol the place had it labelled Bolivian torch next to the san Pedro's lol so I thought it must have been like a different version with shorter spines or something. Alright thanks and they're 26 and 27" is that not enough for tea? Oh well guess I'll just grow them until they're nice and big!

It really depends on the potency, from what I've read about San Pedro one of those should give you enough for a mild trip at the very least.
