there was a post in the pub about it , http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/21639473#21639473
I kinda agree with everybody in that thread , the first 45 mins with the DMT scenes and stuff is pretty cool but the rest is just boaff , probably gonna be bad vibes for shroom if you ask me.
I suggest you something like samsara or Baraka , really nice and intense ambiance movie or if you want something more fun but also really trippy ,cartoons is the way to go , Adventure time season 5 is just mind blowing

I don't care about the story line, I always turn the volume off the tv and blast some shpongle or something. I'm more interested in the visual aspect of the movie.

I watched this a while back..... there's some brief representations of a DMT trip, which is not particularly exciting. The whole film has a slightly psychedelic visual look (e.g use of neon lighting) but it's not something I watched thinking "this would be great on shrooms!". I enjoyed it though.
It's interesting visually in terms of the camerawork and overall design if you're into that aspect of movies.....but on 10g of shrooms probably anything whatsoever on TV looks weird...I've tried watching golf under the influence of pans cyans - even that seemed like some avant garde experimental film, especially when you fail to understand the concept of an ad break.
Like the linked thread above suggests, the death theme might put you in a weird headspace just as the trip is getting incredibly strong. Whatever you do don't watch "Irreversible" by the same director on shrooms, that would be a major buzzkill
One thing I wouldn't mind watching on a moderate dose of shrooms is Survive Style 5+ which is bizarre and very colorful in certain sections.

Samsara is pretty trippy when High as fuck . but I wouldnt waste the intensity with some other audio playing
If you only want a trippy visual video youd be better with something like this

Believe it or not, finding nemo was fuckin crazy to watch while trippin. The entire room started turning into an underwater world lol. The movie expanded off the screen and basically filled the room up. Prolly one of the most intense trips I've had lol

I watched Enter the Void probably about 4 or 5 hours into a acid trip. It was terrifying but in a good way! I enjoyed it and would recommend watching it on a psychedelic. To be honest I think the movie would be a little boring if you watched it sober but that is just me.

I watched this movie sober last night and it was probably one of the worst movies I've ever seen, way too long half of it is just useless filming to make it longer. It might be cool just for the visuals though

I watched that right after me and lucy reached climax, the intro credits had me geeking way too hard.
It was definitely heavy though, almost cried at one point.
Probably the weirdest part was when the movie ended and i went to take a piss, looked at myself in the mirror, and it was like i was charlie right after the dmt scene.

Yeah it's like the more I watched this movie while sober, the More I start to see its flaws. I loved the movie at first, but man that movie could've been 45 minutes long if it wasn't so much useless filming.

Like someone else said if you just want visuals put on a visualizer or watch some crazy cartoons.
I also would highly recommend a nature documentary, preferably whilst blasting pink floyd
Planet Earth by BBC is an amazing one, so many crazy ass parts. Jungles, Ocean Deep, Caves, Shallow Seas, and Season Forests are some of my favorites.
Here is a clip from the caves disc:
And here is a clip of the birds of paradise from the jungles:
And here is a time lapse of the season changing in the seasonal forests one:
The quality of the you tube video is pretty bad on the last one but watching them in HD is

Enter the Void is disorganized and boring as fuck. One of those films where the director just shot a bunch of shit without knowing specifically what he wanted to do with it.
That being said, it is visually on like the top 5 movies I've ever seen. Oftentimes I'll put it on with the volume off and put my headphones on while I'm exercising or something. My favorite is in the first 20 minutes or so when he's walking with his friend through the streets and you see everything from his point of view, including blinking.
This is the film that made me research DMT and, subsequently, Ayahuasca. I've never watched it high though.

I saw this a couple months ago at the tail end of a trip, and I can't recommend it. It runs an hour longer than it has any right to. The tops of buildings just aren't that interesting, and neither is seeing the same scenes played out multiple times in flashback. It had some redeeming features (mostly the cinematography), but I think this is one of those times where we got the director's cut when we really shouldn't have.

Yeah, I can't really imagine wanting to watch anything on a large dose of shrooms; the trip itself provides visuals and develops its own weird storyline. If I'm tripping and watching something on a screen it feels like I'm watching two things at once; one in my head and one on the screen.
From one of my trip journals - "I switched off the TV but the programs continued inside my head"
I quite like watching or reading something before I trip, and then seeing if it influences the trip; either visually or the overall theme / mood of the trip.

I didn't really care for the movie when I saw it on Netflix, but I can appreciate it because it shows someone who has never had psychedelics a very rough sketch of what is experienced. I most definitely would not watch this movie while tripping.

I just watched John dies at the End while tripping over the weekend, fucking hysterical movie, I'm not sure if it was actually intended to be a comedy, but we laughed so hard.
Unfortunately I'll have to rewatch it sober because I can't remember much of it, but a great movie either way!

That movie got old fast. The transitions through buildings and looking down was neat at first but got old extremely fast. I would say if you calculated all the time spend floating around was 40 percent of the film if not more. They hit you hard with some amazing visuals at first (guess they spent most of the budget in the first 30 minutes) then it just seems like a movie going for shock value. I swear by the end of the movie the message I got was stay away from drugs.

Well I munched 8 grams last night and watched it, you guys are right. This movie got old quick. But a couple things I realized from the movie is that vinyl records look like spore prints and the big cities viewed from above look exactly like circuit boards in electronics
