    #21709223 - 05/22/15 05:57 AM (8 years, 8 months ago)

Hello everyone , I had some subs tonight which I all had I.D except for one of them that had blue bruising and the same spore print so I assumed it was okay. Post trip my stomachs feeling a bit off , and I'm just looking for some reassurance that there are not deadly mushrooms that have the same spore print and bruising as subs.

Thanks heaps I'm advance

How long ago have you eat shrooms?
My stomach also feels of sometimes when on shrooms.

Is it just "bubble guts"? what is the feeling like? what was your method of consumption?

If you ate them whole and didn't make a tea then you(me!) can get an odd feeling gut.

You should be fine, if it's only stomach you are OK.
Enjoy your trip

I just douled check the ID I gave you, all of your mushrooms posted were subs. sounds like a case of bubble guts  nothing to worry about.

Since you're prone to upset stomachs I reccommend making a tea next time - if you haven't already

There are others that can bruise blue but no way they can have same spore print as subs.
Yes fresh shrooms are a bit rough for stomach.

None in NZ AFAIK. You're probably just coming down from your trip so you're a little anxious.

If it bruised blue, purple spore prints and are from the photos you posted in your other topic then it can only be subs.

Eating them whole and fresh gives me a pretty uncomfortable gut, it's completely normal. Nothing to worry about.

Highly recommend a nice tea, almost completely alleviates that bubble gut.

Just for extra reassurance, the main mushroom commonly misidentified as a sub is galerina, which you cannot possibly have due to the bruising/spore print.(lack of galerina attributes such as a veil, too)

Again, you're fine

How was the trip mate? Try to focus your thoughts away from the mushroom scare onto something positive

That's  great the hear , it just that the sub I'm worried about wasn't in the pictures I posted , but it bruised blue and had a purple/brown spore print , still think it'll be okay ?

Yeah the true was really nice , lots of vibrant colours and laughing haha

You're good bro. As far as I'm aware there's nothing else in NZ it could possbily be.
If it was picked from the same patch as the subs, bruises blue, looks like a sub, purple print then you're 100% good.

Haha, sounds like fun! Did you gain anything from your experience?

Edit: Calling trips "true" haha you're still having a bit of fun I take it

I thought you were a kiwi, I can't accurately answer on behalf of Aus but I'm pretty sure it's the same situation. I'll send a PM to a TI who just came online if you need some more reassurances.

That feeling of love and appreciation can last for a fair bit of days(weeks?) after your trip, hold onto it

If it looked like a sub, bruised blue and had a purple-brown spore print then it was a sub. There's not really anything else it could be with that combination of features. An upset stomach is a commonly experienced symptom when eating Psilocybes.
