ID request - SA

Hi all, I just wanted a quick ID request. We went looking for shrooms in SA and found hundreds of very similar looking mushrooms and we struggled to tell which ones were which. I know these probably aren't Psilocybin so I'd just like to know what they actually are and how they differ from the active mushroom we're looking for.
Sorry for the poor quality, these photos were taken a day after picking them. They don't bruise blue either which leads me to believe their either inactive or very mildly active if they are actually Psilocybin. They also smell like mushrooms and as far as I'm aware someone ate 3 of these yesterday and they claim to have tripped. Just wanted to get some more info on them here.

They are almost certainly Marasmius oreades., which is edible. These specimens are way past the point when they would have been edible. The person who claims to have tripped was experiencing a placebo effect & if he/she ever tries to eat unidentified mushrooms again should be physically restrained.

My best guess would be Marasmius oreades.. habitat? Spore print? Definitely not active.

They were found in a pine needle forest, growing from the ground. Thanks for the quick replies! We couldn't get a spore print done as we don't have anywhere to leave them without them being seen.
Are there any pointers you could please give me regarding what to look out for next time?(besides the lack of blue staining) I'd love to know a lot more about what exactly I'm looking for next time because to me they all look indistinguishable even after reading several guides.
