They look to be a Galerina species many of which darken on the lower part of the stipe, which can be mistaken for blue bruising. Found on wood and/or in moss? Take a spore print if you still have them and haven't done so. What color spores if you have?

no spore print as of yet, I'll ask for one to be taken. They have no skirt so I assumed they weren't gallerina

If a small one was eaten should I call should I instruct my mate to go to the hospital? I'll ask how long ago he ate it and how he is feeling.

Doesn't really look like Galerina to me could be though, spore print will tell though. In any case make certain your friend does not eat any more of them

Thanks he's told me now that he threw them out earlier when I told him they weren't subs, and said a spore print didn't work when I'm guessing he probably left it printing for 5 minutes. Maybe it's just a case of natural selection Anyway thanks for the help guys appreciate it and love you all

That is not a reasonable assumption at all. Most species of Galerina are not annulate(do not have rings), and most have never been evaluated for toxicity, but any mushrooms that are not identified should be considered poisonous.

If he just ate one he should be fine. If he is worried he could go to a pharmacy and get some activated charcoal and take the recommended amount, but he would have to do so like, now to help at all. Not that the amount of toxin in one would be likely to harm him if it is poisonous.
However if he really ate alot more than he told you he should go to the hospital asap and bring any remaining mushrooms, or failing that the pictures, with him(barring someone making a confirmed ID that is not dangerous, of course).

These are a Gymnopus species, as far as I can tell, not a Galerina. Not sure what species it is, but I don't think it is deadly. Others will know more, but your friend is likely to be fine.
Edit: the same as this?

They are a Gymnopus species. Probably not toxic but your friend is still retarded for eating random mushrooms.
