Another "I'm leaving town" thread

I have two trays fruiting in a monotub right now. Many of the fruits are probably in good shape to harvest, but others are a few days behind in their development.
I'm leaving town tomorrow mid-afternoon, returning sometime mid/late Sunday.
What's the worst that would happen if I harvested the big fruits and left the smaller ones alone for ~48 hours? Should I loosen the polyfill a little bit? (The tub is by a window in a cool A/C'd room with a ceiling fan on low.)
Even if I end up harvesting everything tomorrow after work before leaving town, I wouldn't have time to dunk and put back in the tub, so if I were to yank everything out, what then?
As for the harvested ones, I'm inclined to spread them out and let them sit here on top of the tub under the fan while I'm gone. I wouldn't want to just leave the dehydrator going for two days unattended. Or would a bag and fridge be better?
It's funny, you know… you plan things out months ahead of time to align with your home/travel schedule, and then of course right smack toward the end of a flush a trip pops up on you.

Why not harvest everything now, put them in the dehydrator now, dunk the sub now, and put it back in fruiting when u get out of work before you leave?
To answer your question, the worst case scenario if you do not harvest is that they dump spores all over your grow and possibly begin to rot.

If your able to drop the temp or place the tub some place cool and it will slow things down for ya, otherwise I'd just harvest everything last minute before you leave. Schedules don't work when it comes to these things lol, I've learned that

You're only going to be gone for two days. Harvest the largest fruits and leave the rest alone. Provided you have enought FAE and the humidity is high enough you'll be happy with what you find Sunday afternoon I guarantee
And if not you'll still find some fruits of your labor and will be able to continue with your grow. The only thing which can defeat you at this point is excessive humidity which causes the growth of contams.

I dunno man I left for a couple days in your situation last summer, and yea.. the blackest, ugliest spore covered weird mushroom looking mess of my life.
Only you can judge how long they will take to mature based on where they are now and how fast the rest have grown.. if theyre young enough just harvest whats ready or close and leave the rest.

Having checked this morning before work, I'm gonna have plenty to harvest this afternoon. I'll leave some small ones. I just hope I don't run into issues that would affect a second and subsequent flushes.
I also want to make sure what I harvest will be OK. Lay em out under the ceiling fan, or bag in the fridge method? I do also have a floor fan stashed somewhere I could possibly bust out.

just take your largest fruits and slice them down the middle to expose them to air more, i merely dry my fruits over 2 days with a simple box fan, they should be perfect by the time you get home. I just place them on a magazine then in front of my fan in my closet and they're perfect in 2 days.

if you don't feel comfortable leaving them in the dehydrator for 48 hours (which I don't see a problem with), you could put them in a brown paper bag in the fridge, they will be partially dried by the time u get back.

If it were mine I'd just leave them on a rack by a fan blowing onto them. They'll be close to cracker dry when you get back and dehydrator would probably dry them in half an hour lol

Good partial dryness on the ones harvested Friday afternoon and left under the ceiling fan on high. The small ones I left growing were big and dropping spores by today. All in all it worked out pretty well.
