Need better pictures of stem, cap, gills. At first look, it does appear to be g. Junonious. At the base, the stipe is either bulbous or clavate (club shaped), and the stem is solid with yellow flesh. Is yours like that?

Edit: could also be g. Pampeanus

Taste a small bite and spit it out once you have determined the taste. Gymnopilus mushrooms usually have a very bitter taste, and a taste test is perfectly safe.

stem is yellow, hollow, woody. taste is horrible. I don't think more pics will help because mushrooms are now dried. Other than hollow stem, they match gym description. just want to be 110%.  thanks for help

they look nothing like the pholiota on that page. the stems are twisting wood grain-like, not scaly like the description of  pholiota. The taste was so bad it seemed to burn my tongue. Thanks again

hollow stem is why I was confused. this page shows gym descriptions with hollow stems.

Could be G. luteofolius as they have hollow stems with age.

Can be yellow with green stains as well depending on their age.
