This is an easy way to get a few hours of meditation a morning. I'm not sure how well this would work for those with a busy schedule who have to get up early.
I've found that this method of using kratom keeps tolerance at bay, as the conbination of meditation, dreaming and kratom all work to reverse tolerance. After months of doing this almost every day, I've never had to go above 5-8 grams per dose to achieve desired effects. If I were to take kratom without using this method, my tolerance would rise and the high would eventually lose its magic.
What I do is wake up 3-4 hours before I would mormally wake up, take the kratom, then go back to bed and start meditating while laying down. I don't lay in any specific way, I just lay as I normally would while sleeping. Once the kratom starts taking effect, I use the high as my object of meditation. At first it might be difficult to maintain focus, but after a month or so of doing this daily, it will become almost effortless. You will enter a state of meditative trance without even giving it much thought or care. Say goodbye to 'having' to meditate; it becomes an ecstatic cakewalk.
I usually stay up till 1-3 in the morning and sleep till 11-1, so I'll usually dose the kratom at around 8am when I wake up to use the washroom. When I first starting doing this, I would fall back into unconscious sleep, so don't worry if that happens, just try to meditate as long as possible after the first dose. Over time, you will eventually start going into a conscious half-sleep dream/trance state where time flies and 3 hours of meditative focus is a breeze.
Techniques for astral travel can also be used while in this dream state, and it becomes much easier to accomplish, however I've found the astral experience to be different. I just recently started experimenting with this. I imagine a rope coming out of my body leading out of the window into the sun, and try to picture myself climbing out.
My days have become much more balanced and easy going since doing this, and my mind is more clear and thoughts are less speedy and intrusive. Also, lucid dreams at night have become more frequent.
Edit - I should add that the strains of kratom make a difference. I prefer a 1:1 combination of red vein borneo and green vein malay. The green vein seems to have more of a dreamy effect while the red vein is more relaxing. I'm not sure I'd be able to get back into a deep dream state without the red vein, the green vein alone would probably be too stimulating.
