install it, and run it.

it makes a new browser, that runs off of firefox, by default it SHOULD Have all that turned off.

you should check behind it, and you should not install any plugins or turn on anything

I wouldn't, close anything else and do not log into any accounts like gmail etc while in the tor browser.

if you keep tor open you are giving your bandwidth to tor

its very altruistic.

dont bank on this, but i BELIEVE you can use firefox at the same time, i know how tor works and i BELIEVE its ok.

but i require that you do your own homework  such that i free myself from any blame

yes if you do anything on tor browser that IDENTIFYS you... then you are an idiot.

but simulatious traffic shouldnt hurt.

however if you plan to BUY anything, you should proxy(or better yet buy a vpn). and you should close EVERYTHING else because it will ALSO go through the proxy and now you have kind of made a correlation of usage... this is dumb

poking around tho you should be fine.

A good VPN that you can try before you buy and has good privacy policys is Mullvad, you get 1 hour of free usage to see if you like it and is well worth the cost they even take bitcoins as payment

I truly have no interest in doing this, im just curious but what would happen if you didn't have a proxy and bought stuff, and how could you identify yourself, sign into something through it that is linked through clearnet?

even going full screen on the browser can be a part of what feds will try to use to identify you.

theres a whole lot of things to read that will be better delivered than what i can type here.
