if the mycelium, or 'white stuff', colonizes it completely(which would amaze me very much) , then let it fruit. if it grows shrooms, eat them. it'll all be good.

5 Days? Damn your friend is impatient. Wait at least 2 weeks. If you dont see growth trash em! It took my first jars 9 days to see the first signs of growth

When he sterilized the jar water got into most of them so he figured the were bad. How long did it take for your freinds cakes to fully colonize?
