BHO leftovers for cooking?

Hey a friend gave me 2 butane canisters filled with leftover weed he used for making shatter, he told me it would be great for cooking with. Little bit skeptical on whether there's gonna be much goodies left in it to make it worth my while, and whether it's safe. I would off the bat probably assume that butane will evap pretty clean, especially if i lay it out in a tray for a few days, what do you guys think? Here's some pics:

Damn bro nice friend. After making the wax/shatter there is next to nothing left in the herb bro. Throw it in the compost. The butane strips all the good
shit right out of the flowers.

I used bho leftovers before and depending on how many pulls he made theres definately some actives left If you use the classic honeybee extractor or something similar, the solvent is only in contact with the flowers for a few seconds so theres no way it can strip them clean
Just grind it up well and air it out, on the radiator or in the sun, then smoke a big bowl and you will see if its worth cooking with

I would NOT recommend smoking that after butane has been through it.

How much butane is gonna be left in that whole canister after you air it out ? 1-2ml ? i doubt it Even then theres not going to be any meaningful damage from smoking a few bowls, imo peoples priorities are way out of wack when it comes to impurities in smokeables
A pack of cigs or just using a lawnmower for 20mins will give you way more toxic shit than a miniscule amount of solvent, but nobody thinks twice about that
Yea its not healthy, but smoking never is

Then try it out and let us know. If you have an extremely low tolerance then you may get a little high off of it, IMO it isn't worth it.
