Good to hear they shouldn't give me too much trouble. I don't know why I lost mine before. Probably didn't give them enough attention I guess. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I shouldn't expect much, if any growth from them over the winter, right?

One day Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree.
'Which road do I take?' she asked.
'Where do you want to go?' was his response.
'I don't know', Alice answered.
'Then', said the cat, 'it doesn't matter.'

Here's a couple things I took some pictures of that didn't really belong in any other threads...

First up - the first of my Key Lime seeds are sprouting!

And here is a plastic container I have on the back porch that some frogs decided was a perfect breeding pond. I noticed tadpoles in it earlier this summer and didn't have the heart to dump out the rainwater...

After lots of waiting, I finally noticed a fully formed 'adult' crawling out of the 'pond'

What a crazy place for tadpoles to show up.  That's awesome that you decided to let them develop!

Yeah I just didn't have the heart to dump them out. Plus, I love frogs hanging out around the house eating up all the dang mosquitos!

Check out what came in the mail today! My first bridge cuttings! Also got a small pach, a few 'Mexican Fence Post', and a 'Fish Hook' Barrel Cactus. Those spines look vicious!

Have fun growing those bridge! They are awesome plants. The cuttings I got awhile back rooted up very nicely, made me wonder if bridgesii root extra fast.

That'd be nice. Maybe they might even think about pupping before our winter comes around...

Very possibly, I have one lil bridge cutting that has yet to even root but has a pup that has been slowly growing for weeks.

Here's a few more pics from around the garden today.

Banana flower! I was surprised by my recently transplanted banana tree throwing out a flower pod!

My daggas flowers are finally opening! Bad pic, I was almost shooting into the sun...

Couple pics of Bolivian Rainbow peppers

Today's pepper harvest (plus some okra top-right)

And I have an aloe starting to flower! Never had one do that before, I thought it was neat...

N'joy

I doubt that it would accept the graft, spaceman. The 2 plants I feel, are not closely related enough... Now, if it were done with a Puya, or maybe some kind of large Bromeliad, maybe. (since pineapples are related to them and air plants too).

I was talking about grafting a cactus "like a Loph" to the aloe hybrid.

Sorry if I was a bit unclear.
